CT658 - Heulandite with Mordenite, Calcite $ 150 Amudika River, near Mirny, Yakutia, Siberia, Russia miniature - 3.5 x 3 x 2 cm
Bi-colored Heulandite crystal with Mordenite and Calcite crystals. A fine quality double-terminated Heulandite 2.2cm wide. Hard to find old specimen from Chuck Trantham personal collection.
CT650 - Liddicoatite $ 1800 Anjanabonoina, Madagascar cabinet - 12.2 x 9 x 0.4 cm
Cut and polished slice of Liddicoatite (a species of Tourmaline) from old finds in Madagascar. Cut parallel to the C-axis, the slice reveals the colorful interior of what would have appeared to otherwise be a dark crystal. Triangular color zoning of greens, blues, and purple. Well polished on both sides, weighs 87.09 grams.
CT682 - Tetrahedrite $ 1200 Peru miniature - 4.5 x 3.5 x 3 cm
Large single Tetrahedrite, 3.5cm with some smaller attached crystals. Excellent size and undamaged with a slight coating of Chalcopyrite in areas. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection.

Cubic Argentite crystals to 1cm. Mounted on a peg in a Perky box. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection.
CT706 - Anglesite Last Chance Mine, Yreka Mining District, Kellog, Shoshone Co., Idaho, USA small cabinet - 5.5 x 4.5 x 2.5 cm
Glassy transparent Anglesite crystals on a Galena matrix. Longest crystal is 1.4cm. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection. The old label indicates that this was from the Bunker Hill Mine, but it is most likely from the nearby Last Chance Mine, which are much rarer than Bunker Hill Anglesites.
CT705 - Mimetite $ 350 Bilbao Mine, La Blanca, Ojocaliente Municipality, Zacatecas, Mexico miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 3 cm
Old, somewhat globular mass of orange Mimetite from Mexico. Specimen is solid, translucent Mimetite. Rarely seen specimen from a small limited find in the 1950s. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection.
CT787 - Huebnerite with Quartz Pasto Bueno, Ancash, Peru thumbnail - 2.6 x 2 x 2 cm
Two crystals of Huebnerite on Quartz crystals. Each crystal appears to be a twin with a distinct 'fish tail' form. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection.
CT844 - McGuinnessite $ 250 Red Mountain, Mendocino Co., California, USA small cabinet - 7 x 5.5 x 1.4 cm
Bubbly blue/green McGuinnessite on all sides of matrix. McGuinnessite is a rare manganese, copper, carbonate and this specimen is from the type locality of the Copper King Mine in the Red Mountain Mining District. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection. Self collected by Chuck and Al McGuinness in 1982. This was the best McGuinnessite I saw in the collection, and Chuck had it priced at $250.
CT845 - Andradite var. Melanite $ 450 Locality #1 near New Idria, San Benito Co., California, USA miniature - 4 x 3.5 x 2 cm
Black Andradite var. Melanite crystals scattered on matrix. An excellent example with lustrous black crystals, including a large single that stands out off the matrix that is to 9mm in size. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection. Acquired by Chuck in 1992 via trade from Al McGuinness's personal collection (Al had collected or acquired it in 1980). The best Melanite specimen I saw in the collection.
LL117 - Acanthite $ 1250 Hongda Mine, Xiaoqinggou Ag-Mn deposit, Lingqiu County, Datong, Shanxi, China miniature - 3.7 x 2.9 x 1.1 cm
Steel gray Acanthite crystal showing good crystal structure on both sides.
LL143 - Dioptase $ 350 Ray Mine, Pinal Co., Arizona, USA miniature - 4.8 x 3.8 x 2 cm
Drusy crystals of Dioptase with Chrysocolla on matrix. Excellent quality for the locality and the USA in general.
LL140 - Franklinite $ 250 Sterling Hill Mine, Franklin, New Jersey, USA small cabinet - 5.5 x 4 x 3.5 cm
Octahedral crystals of Franklinite to 1.7cm on matrix. There are four good complete crystals exposed, with other partial crystals embedded in the matrix.
CT900 - Witherite $ 350 Cumberland, England small cabinet - 6.5 x 4.7 x 2.8 cm
Well crystallized cluster of solid Witherite. Undamaged, historic, fine quality specimen.
CT887 - Lawsonite $ 300 Reed Station, Tiburon, Marin Co., California, USA small cabinet - 6.5 x 6 x 2 cm
Blue/grey Lawsonite crystals from the type locality for the species. This specimen features on open vug lined with crystals, which is less commonly seen than the more typical specimens which have crystals embedded in green schist. Collected in the 1960s from a now defunct locality covered by homes.
LL156 - Azurite, Malachite after Azurite $ 3500 Tsumeb, Namibia cabinet - 11 x 6.5 x 6.5 cm
Cluster of prismatic Azurite and Malachite after Azurite crystals with Arsentsumebite and Cerussite. I just the love the highly colorful specimens from this mine and this is a prime example of such a specimen. A very colorful mixture of blue, deep green Malachite, lighter green Arsentsumebite, and small crystals of Cerussite scattered about. Comes with an old Phil Scalisi label.
