Cluster of Azurite that has been completely replaced by Copper. Dominant main crystal with smaller crystals atttached to the front center. Complete on both sides with well defined, sharp edges and undamaged. A remarkable and fantastic specimen.

AB108 - Smithsonite $ 650
Broken Hill Mine, Kabwe, Zambia
miniature - 5 x 3.5 x 2.2 cm

Two large, double-terminated Smithsonite crystals that display dramatically on matrix. This locality is not known for volumes of specimens but I have seen the occasional really interesting specimen from here over the years and this counts as one of them. The largest Smithsonite is 3.6cm wide and the specimen displays well from either side. There are unfortunately small cleaves on the tip of each crystal, but they don't ditract that much, especially when considering the rarity of the piece and the overall visual impact.

Large, thick somewhat pinwheel formation of translucent yellow Brucite on a bit of matrix from recent finds in Pakistan. Undamaged and good from both sides, this is a very thick formation. The Brucite is well crystallized all around, characteristic of open pocket growth and not growth in tight, contacted seams as are most. An excellent example that is just plain more massive than most.
