D456 - Proustite $ 450 unknown thumbnail - 2.5 x 2 x 1.6 cm
A 1.2cm cluster of thick Proustite crystals on matrix. I bought this as part of an old collection and it unfortunately came without a label or locality information. I can only guess it is German. Chunky crystals with good red color. Undamaged and valued at $500.

Glossy black Ilvaite crystal with an undamaged, chisel-tipped termination. Complete all around.
D642 - Cuprian Adamite with Ferrilotharmeyerite $ 400 Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 3.7 x 2 x 2 cm
Colorful Tsumeb classic with sharp crystals to 5mm wide on the terminations. Undamaged.
D647 - Mimetite $ 275 Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico cabinet - 9.5 x 6 x 4.5 cm
Good sized specimen of Limonite with the top covered by thick masses of green to yellow colored Mimetite.
D662 - Mimetite with Calcite $ 150 Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico miniature - 5 x 4 x 2.5 cm
Specimen of yellow Mimetite with clear rhombs of Calcite. From a recent find in Santa Eulalia it's in a great condition with crystals on both sides. On one side the Mimetite is atop the Calcite, the other side has much more Calcite with Mimetite both on top and beneath the Calcite.
D675 - Mimetite with Calcite $ 220 Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico miniature - 4 x 3.3 x 1.5 cm
Specimen of yellow Mimetite with attached clear rhombs of Calcite. A very thin, flat matrix with botryoidal Mimetite with a few attached clear Calcites on front, and Calcite crystals on back. From a recent find in Santa Eulalia.
CT167 - Uvite with Magnesite $ 120 Brumado Mine, Bahia, Brazil thumbnail - 2.5 x 2 x 1.3 cm
Bright and lustrous green Uvite crystals (a Tourmaline species) associated with white Magnesite crystals. Undamaged specimen with partially transparent Uvites to 1.2cm in size.
CT159 - Rose Quartz scepter $ 125 Pitorra Mine, Galileia, Minas Gerais, Brazil thumbnail - 2 x 1 x 1 cm
Pink Rose Quartz scepter head over a white Quartz stalk. This is an unusual one and the old label calls it a 'Hopper scepter' as it is somewhat cup-shaped. The Rose Quartz is also totally transparent which is uncommon and Rose Quartz is more typically only translucent. Neat, undamaged specimen.
CT165 - Legrandite $ 225 Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico thumbnail - 3 x 2.5 x 2 cm
Wide vug in Limonite filled with golden crystals of Legrandite. A rarity from the Chuck Trantham collection, originally acquired by Chuck from Al McGuinness in 1988.
CT198 - Bournonite $ 150 Machacamarca Mine, Potosi Dept., Bolivia thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.3 x 1.5 cm
Well formed 2.5cm 'cogwheel' of Bournonite that sits up perfectly for display on a small amount of matrix. This is from older finds at mine that has produced some of the world's finest Bournonites.
CT182 - Bournonite $ 90 Machacamarca Mine, Potosi Dept., Bolivia thumbnail - 2.4 x 2.3 x 1.5 cm
Well formed intergrown 'cogwheels' of Bournonite to 2.2cm with small amounts of attached matrix. This is from older finds at mine that has produced some of the world's finest Bournonites.
CT338 - Rutile $ 400 Champion Mine, White Mountains, Mono Co., California, USA miniature - 4.5 x 4.5 x 2.5 cm
Mirror-lustrous Rutile crystals to 1.2cm that contrast well against a matrix of white Pyrophyllite. Ex. Chuck Trantham personal collection, collected by Chuck at the mine in September 1983. This was considered special enough to Chuck to be illustrated in his Mineral Collections of California supplement to the Minerlogical Record magazine. Sawcut on base.
CT286 - Bornite wtih Quartz $ 300 Dzhezkazgan, Kazakhstan miniature - 3.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm
Large, slightly irridescent Bornite crystals to 2cm on a matrix of Quartz crystals. Bornite crystals are rare, these are just released from an old collection.
CT312 - Goosecreekite $ 150 Nasik, Maharashtras State, India thumbnail - 3 x 2.2 x 1.7 cm
Undamaged thumbnail sized cluster of the rare Zeolite Goosecreekite. Goosecreekite is far more uncommon than other Indian zeolites, and these from Nasik are the world's best. A nice example with great crystals, in the thumbnail size range.
CT348 - Siegenite $ 275 Buick Mine, Reynolds Co., Missouri, USA thumbnail - 3 x 2.5 x 1 cm
Crystals of Siegenite on a sulfide rich matrix that is crystallized on both sides. Siegenite is a cobalt nickel sulfide that is one of the rarer and most sought after minerals from Missouri's Viburnum Trend.
