CT346 - Quartz with Calcite $ 150 Bog Mine, American Fork Mining District, Wasatch Mountains, Utah Co., Utah, USA small cabinet - 6 x 5 x 3 cm
Skeletal Quartz crystals and scalenohedral yellow Calcite crystals from an obscure former mine in the Wasatch Mountains. The Quartz cluster is complete and undamaged. Rare old specimen from the Chuck Trantham collection.
CT512 - Achtaragdite $ 120 Akhtaragda River mouth, Vilyui River Basin, Mirninsky District, Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Russia thumbnail - 1.5 x 1.3 x 1.2 cm
Achtaragdite is a rare pseudomorph of a hydrogrossular-chlorite-carbonate mineral after what is believed to be Helvite. This is a little understood psuedo likely found many decades ago at the type locality for Grossular garnet in Siberia. It is a fine example with a well formed tetrahedron of the form of the former Helvite crystal.

Glassy, colorless/white orthorhombic crystals of vuagnatite, a rare silicate mineral, on matrix. Collected by Chuck Trantham in 1982 and valued at that time at $100.

CT510 - Heulandite on Quartz $ 220 Prospect Park, New Jersey, USA miniature - 4 x 2.8 x 2.5 cm
Large, fine quality Heulandite crystal atop drusy Quartz crystals. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection. Old label indicates it was purchased by Chuck from Frazier's minerals in 1991 and was formerly in the collection of Paul Patchick (#1102). Complete and undamaged.
CT541 - Neptunite with Joaquinite $ 1600 Gem Mine, San Benito Co., California, USA small cabinet - 6.5 x 5 x 2 cm
Thick, lustrous black Neptunite crystals on a flat matrix of Natrolite over schist. This is an old Steve Perry specimen that I purchased from Steve about 20 years ago and have kept in my collection ever since. All the crystals are terminated and undamaged, the main crystal is 2.5cm long. There are small brown Joaquinite crystals on the Natrolite.

Specimen of Brewsterite, a rare strontian member of the zeolite family, with Harmotome. Open vug filled with transparent to translucent sparkling crystals. From the type locality in Scotland. Old material from the Chuck Trantham collection.

CT645 - Fluorite $ 650 Minerva Mine, Cave-in-Rock, Hardin Co., Illinois, USA cabinet - 13.5 x 10 x 3.5 cm
Large cluster of transparent to translucent Fluorite cubes from the Minerva Mine. The Fluorite is yellow with thin outer layers of purple and has both attached and included crystals of Chalcopyrite. Clean and in excellent condition with small crystals on the backside too.

Well crystallized Copper specimen with a grouping of good crystals rising up off larger, thick crystals at the base.
CT656 - Heulandite with Mordenite $ 150 Amudika River, near Mirny, Yakutia, Siberia, Russia miniature - 4.2 x 3 x 2.2 cm
Bi-colored Heulandite crystal with Mordenite. A fine quality double-terminated Heulandite 2cm wide. Hard to find old specimen from Chuck Trantham personal collection.
