Orange Wulfenite crystals on a Calcite matrix coated by tiny Descloizite crystals. Main crystal is 1.7cm wide and perfect. A couple chips on some minor crystals, but most of them are perfect. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection.

Vuggy matrix with excellent sprays of acicular Dioptase crystsals and bright orange Wulfenite crystals. Old specimen with good crystals on both sides.


CT106 - Senarmontite $ 180

Crystals of translucent grey octahedral Senarmontite on both sides of the specimen, with larger crystals to 6mm on the front and small drusy crystals on the back. Discovered in 1845, the Djebel Hammimat Mine is the type locality for sénarmontite, an antimony oxide dimorph of Valentinite. Ex. Chuck Trantham, Al McGuinness specimen.

Well formed Tarnowitzite crystal, 1.5cm wide, on matrix with attached crystals of Mimetite.

Floater cluster of Tennantite crystals composed of two larger crystals to 1.5cm on edge and a number of smaller crystals, with a crystal of White Dolomite attached. Crystallized all around with no point of contact, better than photos.

Water clear Selenite crystals on matrix. These always stun due to their perfect, pure look. Sawcut on back and base. Ex. Roberts Minerals specimen.

Bright, translucent acicular Realgar crystals covering surfaces and filling vugs in matrix. Ex. Trantham collection #225 acquired in 1979 and valued at that time at $20.

Well formed cluster of terminated, translucent Inderite crystals. Elegant, prismatic crystals with a thin coating of white Tincalconite in areas. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection #53. Though Chuck saw many of these, this was the one he decided to keep, for obvious reasons.

Well formed, equant single Analcime crystal with smaller attached crystals. This locality has produced Colorado's finest zeolites and this is considered a large crystal for the locality. Complete all around and undamaged.

Single well terminated Natrolite crystal. Transparent crystal with some small crystals and coatings on two sides. Undamaged and even has a nice phantom about 1cm down from the termination. Old material from the classic USA locality that produced what are considered some of the world's best Natrolites.
