D174 - Malachite over Cuprite $ 350 Ongonja, Seeis, Namibia thumbnail - 2.1 x 2 x 1.8 cm
Well formed crystal of Cuprite covered with a thin coating of Malachite on a small amount of Calcite matrix. The Cuprite in these specimens are often transparent and faceted into gemstones. These are classics and now hard to find. The main crystal shows good well defined edges and is 2cm wide. There is a partial crystal on the back, which I actually like because it offers a window into the bright red Cuprite interior but does not detract when viewed from the front.

The crystal shows good well defined edges and is almost completely covered by Malachite. there is a small chip on the back that gives a window into the bright red Cuprite interior but does not detract when viewed from the front.

Single gemmy Zircon crystal with a nice wine red to red brown coloration. Complete all around and undamaged except for some slight edge chipping. Smooth, flat crystal faces. Zircon crystals from this locality often have long thin surface grooves caused by another unidentified crystal. This crystal has such surface grooves, and it also has a crystal of the other mineral fully included inside it. A whitish colored crystal a full 1cm long can be seen running lengthwise in one side of the Zircon crystal.

MM118 - Hematite with Quartz $ 2500 Big Bertha Mine (Veta Grande Mine), Dome Rock Mts, La Paz Co., Arizona, USA small cabinet - 6 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm
Stunning Hematite and Quartz specimen from the classic Arizona locality, likely from the late 1970s. Mirror lustrous tabular crystals to 1.9cm. Comes with an old Larry Conklin label that shows a price of $550 likely from decades ago. There are some small damaged crystals, still this is by far the best I've owned or seen, though admittedly I have not seen many - they are uncommon, Mindat only shows 18 specimens.

Green Prehnite covering one face of a large, dark brown Andradite crystal. The Andradite is 4.5cm wide. I found one small edge chip, otherwise undamaged. This is an uncommon specimen and I've only seen a couple others like it from this locality with Prehnite on an Andradite crystal.

Super bright and showy water-clear, colorless Quartz crystals from the Indian Himalayas. Slight chipping on one back termination face, otherwise perfect. Stands upright for display.
K362 - Brucite $ 300 Killa Saifullah, Balochistan, Pakistan small cabinet - 5.9 x 4.9 x 2 cm
Bright lemon yellow Brucite crystals from the original finds of a couple years ago. I looked through hundreds of specimens to find the brightest, most deeply saturated yellow specimens such as this. This specimen is solid Brucite and is well crystallized on both sides. The bright yellow Brucite formed as a second generation over a thin piece of white Brucite. These new specimens from Pakistan are world's best for the species.
