Angular yellowish green crystals of Kolwezite pseudomorphs after Cuprite on velvety, botryoidal pink Cobaltoan Calcite. A beautiful and colorful combination specimen.

Clusters of sky blue Hemimorphite over darker blue/green Rosasite from recent finds in the Congo. The Hemimorphite forms satiny hemispherical mounds. Most found were solid druses of Hemimorphite without Rosasite and specimens such as this with more isolated clusters on the Rosasite were uncommon. Highly aesthetic specimen for the find.

Dark green crystals of Kolwezite and/or Malachite that has pseudomorphed after Barite (?) on Cobaltian Calcite. The pseudomorphs form a cluster about 4cm wide in a vug. The Cobaltian Calcite is brown with an later generation of vivid pink. Kolwezite is a Copper Cobalt Carbonate Hydroxide and this is the type locality for the species. private_notes

Colorful specimen of botryoidal Heterogenite, Chrysocolla, small tufts of acicular Malachite, and possibly Cornetite. Ex. Gilbert Gauthier specimen with label and ex. Mike Groben collection with label. Mike's label indicates it was purchased from Gilbert in 1999 for $250 and appraised at the time at $500.
