M132 - Malachite after Azurite $ 900 (=~ AUS$ 1372) SOLD Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico small cabinet - 6 x 5 x 4 cm
Fine quality single crystal of Malachite after Azurite from Milpillas. This truely looks more like a Malachite after Tanzanite than what it is - it has such an unusal shape. The single 3.5cm tall crystal is visually striking against the white matrix and in perfect condition. The chatoyancy of the velvety Malachite is wonderful with a uniform wave of light rolling up to the termination as you turn it in your hand. There is a small amount of remaining Azurite around the base of the crystal. Unique crystal that is by far the best pseudomorph from Milpillas I've ever owned.
