T618 - Molybdenite $ 500 (=~ £ 400) SOLD Crown Point Mine, Chelan County, Washington, USA small cabinet - 5.7 x 4 x 1.5 cm
Well formed large crystal of Molybdenite from a not so well know USA locality for the species. Sharply formed crystal faces and striated, beveled edges, which are not commonly seen in Molybdenite crystals.
T619 - Tsavorite with Calcite on Graphite $ 2500 (=~ £ 1999) SOLD Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 5 x 2.3 x 2 cm
An uncommon matrix Tsavorite specimen with large gemmy crystals associated with Calcite on Graphite. The two largest crystals are each about 1.7cm wide. The crystals are very gemmy, good sized, and on matrix. The white Calcite crystals provide nice color contrast too. There is significant gem value to the crystals, possibly more valuble than my asking price. The central crystal has a facet grade gem area that is 13 x 10 x 7mm. Large gem quality Tsavorites are hard to find, especially on matrix.

A stunning thumbnail sized specimen of Tsavorite with Diopside on Graphite. The largest Tsavorite is 1.3cm wide with top green color. Nearly a floater that is well crystallized all around. An uncommonly good piece, I give this one high marks!!!
