AU868 - Tourmaline $ 6000 SOLD Rubaya, North Kivu, Dem. Rep. of Congo miniature - 3.5 x 2 x 1.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Glassy transparent Tourmaline crystal from recent finds in the Congo. The color from the side appears as green over pink, but there is also a yellow color at the termination that makes this one really interesting and uncommon. The shape of the termination is also fantastic. Note that this one is directly from a miner and has not been to a cleaning lab and could likely be improved. Undamaged and weighs 20.84 grams.
AF642 - Malachite $ 180 Shaba Prov., Congo small cabinet - 7 x 7 x 5 cm ![]() ![]() Botryoidal Malachite on matrix. Very attractive and atypical to have the malachite well centered on matrix such as this one, 7 x 7 x 5 cm.

A thick mound-shaped layer of beautiful translucent Hemimorphite to 1.5cm thick. The top surface sparkles and I love the stalactitic growths. Beautiful color!
AF691 - Carrollite $ 550 Kamoya Mine, Shaba Prov., Congo miniature - 5 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm ![]() ![]() A pair of highly lustrous Carrollite crystals attached to the face of a Calcite rhomb. Largest crystal is 1.1cm.
ST238 - Kolwezite after Cuprite on Cobaltian Calcite $ 900 Kolwezi Mining District, Lualaba, DR Congo cabinet - 14.5 x 9 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Dark olive green Kolwezite pseudomorphs after Cuprite atop rhombs of pink Cobaltoan Calcite (or possibly Cobaltoan Dolomite) creating a stunning mixture of colors and forms. There are a few clusters of an earlier generation of botryoidal Kolwezite but the majority are angular crystals of the pseudomorphs. Kolwezite is a Copper Cobalt Carbonate Hydroxide and this is the type locality for the species. A beautiful large display piece and combination specimen of two desireable species together.

MK641 - Cobaltian Calcite with Kolwezite $ 2750 Mupine Mine, Kolwezi Miniing Dist., Lualaba, DR Congo small cabinet - 6.8 x 3 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Exceedingly large single pink Cobaltian Calcite crystal from the Congo. This is a complete scalenohedral crystal that is partially doubly terminated along the bottom. Translucent and undamaged with green Kolwezite adding color contrast. This is the largest single Cobaltian Calcite I've ever seen from the locality. Last photo is backlit.

Rep. of Congo small cabinet - 8.1 x 2.2 x 1.7 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Glassy pink and green Tourmaline crystal from recent finds in the Congo. The Tourmaline is a glassy pink with a bright green termination. Good transparency and in excellent condition, even the base has been rehealed. This is a crystal from early production at the locality that I obtained in a trade. It weighs 52.04 grams. Good, larger sized Congo Tourmaline typically sells for about $300/gram, but because it is an older piece obtained in a trade I'm able to sell it here at about $150/gram.

The Diamond is a cube that in somewhat flattened in one direction, forming a parallelogram shape. Complete all around and undamaged. Weighs 3.41 carats.
