Thick, glassy single Morganite crystal from Afghanistan with excellent pink coloration. Transparent with bevelled edges. Ex. Dr. Art Soregaroli collection.

Well terminated, lustrous single Tourmaline crystal rising vertically from snow-white Albite crystals. Set around the base are two Apatite crystals and another smaller Tourmaline crystal. The larger Tourmaline is dark with a very thin transparent zone on the termination. The smaller Tourmaline is translucent purple when backlit. Beautiful composition, sculptural and undamaged all around.

Shiny, tan Siderite crystals atop a druse of Quartz crystals from the historic mines of Neudorf. Neudorf is village in a lead and silver mining district that was most active in the late 19th century and is famous for it's Galena, Bournonite, and Siderite specimens. This is beautiful large plate of crystals that are both on Quartz and have some Siderite crystals coated by tiny Quartz crystals. IFrom the back you can see that it has been repaired, but it's nearly invisible from the front.

Rare classic Elbaite crystal from the Hyakule Mine in Nepal. These Nepalese crystals are distinctive and now very hard to find, and this one is both good sized (many being thin 'pencil' style crystals) and is highly transparent. Well terminated with stepped side crystals. It grades from green at the terminations to pink in the center and base. It's complete all around and in excellent condition. Weighs 36.6 grams.

Glassy, transparent smokey Quartz crystals on matrix from Moorella, Australia. This is a great example from the occurrence and was collected long ago. The crystals stand upright on the matrix and are complete all around and undamaged.

Large single crystal of Spessartine from Tanzania. These came out in numbers when first discovered but the deposit quickly dried up (and/or mining stopped) and new crystals are seldom seen anymore. This is one from the original finds recently released from a collection. It's translucent with areas of transparency, complete and undamaged.

Sparkling deep blue crystals of Veszelyite on sky blue Hemimorphite. The crystals occur both isolated and more clustered together. Much of the Veszelite is sprinkled with micro crystals of blue/green Kipushite. Great overall coverage, sparkle, and color with crystals on the backside too.

Cluster of glassy, gemmy Brazilianite crystals. This is a good cluster for a thumbnail with nice composition. Comes with an old label showing a price of $200.

Two intergrown hexagonal prisms of Hematite, an uncommon crystal form for Hematite that reminds me of a style rarely seen in Kalahari Hematite crytals. Silvery in color with bright metallic luster. These are found in an iron mine on an island located 8 kilometers off the coast of Iran.

Translucent, flaring crystals os Stilbite on the front face with the backside covered by sparkling white Calcite crystals. The Stilbite are tan colored and reach 2.3cm in size.

Fine quality terminated single Tremolite crystal with rich green coloration, as good as they get color wise. From the December 2007 pocket, which produced the best colored crystals - you can tell the difference when comparing side by side to Tremolite crystals from other finds. Complete and undamaged single crystal. This is one I sold years ago (for $800) and recently reacquired. Pictured in Figure 79 of the Merelani issue of the Mineralogical Record (Sept.- Oct. 2009 issue).
