Large deep green Tsavorite crystal on matrix from the Merelani Tanzanite mines. The crystal is both large sized and has superb deep green color, much less common than the mint-colored Tsavorites. The matrix is a mixture of Graphite, Pyrite, and Quartz.

Crystals of Covellite and Pyrite on a Quartz matrix from Butte. The Covellite crystals are irridescent blue, distinct and stand upright on the matrix, which is less uncommon (usually tighter foliated masses). The main crystal on front is 3cm in diameter. Ex. John Dabney collection.

Glassy and gemmy complete single Tsavorite from the Merelani Tanzanite mines. Excellent luster and transparency, well crystallized all around with some attached Graphite on one side.

Transparent cubic blue Fluorite crystals from the Minerva Mine. The crystals have the fine blue color this mine is known for with a small amount of purple at the core. There are some edge cleavages, but that color!!!

Single stepped octahedral Fluorite crystal on silvery Muscovite crystals. The Fluorite crystal is 4.5cm wide, complete and undamaged (a small indent on the lower right side is rehealed). The crystal is transparent and light green in color with hints of pink.

Three Tourmaline crystals from the historic Gillette Quarry in Connecticut, which operated between 1895 and 1944. One crystal is an orange color, another green and yellow, and the third a pure grass green. All crystals are well terminated, complete and undamaged. The longest is 2.3cm.

Transparent orange Grossular crystals on matrix. The crystals reach 1cm in size with good transparency, in fact there are 5-6 crystals that would cut nice gemstones.

Fine quality single Epidote crystal with attached platy Hematite crystals. This crystal displays the best characteristics of the locality with high luster and slight transparency in the surface layers that make it brighter than most. I also love the alternating directions of the striations across the surface of the termination.

Two crystals of bright cherry-red, transparent Proustite. The crystals are 1.8 and 1.3 cm in size and have obviously been kept in the dark as they are bright and transparent without need of backlighting. Neither are well terminated. Come displayed in a Riker mount.
