Though crudely formed, this is the largest I've yet seen from this deposit, which has recently been producing small grains most suitable only for gemstones. Single 'Cobalt Blue' Tanzanite crystal from a small recent find. This color, a deep almost silky blue that reminds me of Kashmir Sapphire, is only rarely found (I've only seen it found twice) and reportedly only from one small artisanal mine in the deposit. These crystals are never very large, and this (and P378) were the largest quality crystal I could get.
