P307 - Dioptase $ 3000 (=~ £ 2399) Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 3.2 x 2.5 x 2 cm
Fine quality large Dioptase crystal on a matrix coated by blueish Dolomite and white Calcite. The main Dioptase is 1.4cm tall, sharp, and highly lustrous. Green Duftite can be seen on small areas of the matrix where the Calcite and Dolomite are not present. Really fabulous thumbnail with a different look than most. Purchased by Jack Crowley from Al McGuinness in 1983 (his collection number is painted on the back).
P308 - Prehnite after Tanzanite $ 800 (=~ £ 640) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 4 x 3.0 x 1.8 cm
Blue Prehnite that has coated or pseudomorphed fan-shaped clusters of Tanzanite. This is a near floater with contact on the left side, otherwise nothing but fine quality crystals all around with some attached Graphite crystals and a few small brown Chabazite crystals. Ex. Mike Keim Merelani suite.

Large single Wurtzite crystal from Merelani, source of the world's finest Wurtzite crystals. Complete all around with good crystal faces and areas of attached Graphite. Doubly-terminated yellow Sapphire crystal. Well crystallized all around with slightly hoppered terminations at each end. Excellent transparency in areas and weighs 15.65 carats. Thick, transparent jewel-like crystal. Purchased over 20 years ago from dealer Steve Perry.

Thick blue and green Tourmaline crystal with an attached cluster of purple/pink Lepidolite. The Tourmaline has a glassy multi-faceted termination and a rich blue center with more green at the top and bottom. Ex. Terry Szenics.

Octahedral Scheelite crystal, 3cm wide, atop a layer of Muscovite crystals. The Scheelite is complete and undamaged with glassy luster, excellent orange color, and areas of transparency.
P319 - Cassiterite with Quartz $ 2400 (=~ £ 1919) Amo Tin deposit, Ximeng County, Pu'er, Yunnan, China miniature - 4 x 2 x 2 cm
Amazingly transparent Cassiterite crystals with Quartz crystals on matrix. The main crystal is 1cm in size with high luster and superb transparency for the species. Both the Cassiterite and the Quartz crystals have inclusions of dark, needle-like crystals of an unidentified mineral. Undamaged, high quality crystals. Purchased in the 1990s.

Amazingly transparent Cassiterite crystals on matrix. There are 5 crystals in total, the largest is 1cm in size. The crystals looks like exquisite jewels with high luster and superb transparency for the species. Undamaged, high quality crystals. Purchased in the 1990s.
