P267 - Mangano Smithsonite $ 2000 Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 4 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm
Well balanced miniature with large reddish pink rhombs of Mangano Smithsonite on matrix. The largest crystal reaches an impressive 2cm in size. The Smithsonite occurs as both clusters and as well separated crystals. Ex. Carl Acosta collection.
P268 - Cobaltian Smithsonite $ 2500 Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 4 x 3.7 x 1.8 cm

P269 - Calcite on Tennantite $ 400 Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 5.9 x 4 x 4 cm
Cluster of large black Tennantite crystals with attached colorless rhombs of Calcite. The Tennantite are well crystallized all around but show some contacts on the bottom. The Calcite crystals cover most of the bottom indicating it detached from the pocket and was later coated by the Calcite crystals. There are also some tiny Quartz crystals present and an unidentified platy metallic mineral. Ex. Carl Acosta collection.
P270 - Brochantite $ 600 SOLD Tsumeb, Namibia thumbnail - 3 x 2 x 2 cm
Sharp, stout prismatic Brochantite crystals from Tsumeb. Brochantite was rare from Tsumeb and rarer still in stout, well terminated crystals (most formed acicular crystals). The crystals reach 4mm in size, some doubly-terminated, and have grown on a silicous matrix coated by drusy Quartz. There are also spherical massess of an unidentified light green mineral present. P272 - Dolomite after Tarnowitzite with Copper on Dolomite cast $ 500 Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 4.5 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm
A really interesting and classic Tsumbe combo specimen of multiple species. At first glance this appears to be 'just' a Dolomite cast, however upon examination you see a number of attached white pseudomorphs of zincian Dolomite after Tarnowitzite. There are two such pseudomorphs on the top surface and another two on the bottom surface. Also present are small green altered Copper crystals (the red metallic Copper color showing through on some crystals). On the bottom surfaces are areas of light green crystals, possibly Smithsonite. P275 - Cuprian Smithsonite $ 2000 Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 8 x 5.5 x 3 cm
Specimen of solid bright green Cuprian Smithsonite crystals. This is an uncommon thick cluster of Smithsonite without matrix (you can backlight the specimen to show it is nothing but translucent Smithsonite). P278 - Calcite on Malachite $ 300 Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 7.5 x 4.5 x 4 cm
White Calcite crystals atop a layer of botryoidal Malachite. The top surface of the Malachite is smooth and rounded while the bottom surface is satiny with small acicular crystals. Non-pseudomorphous Malachite such as this was uncommon at Tsumeb. Ex. Carl Acosta collection.
