Uncommon matrix specimen of Cafarsite with a well placed 8mm crystal. Cafarsite is a rare calcium, titanium, iron, manganese arsenate mineral. From the type locality.

Small well crystallized cluster of Skutterudite var. Shaltite. There are two main cubic crystals with octahedral modifications. From MINDAT: 'Discovered in 1908 and brought into production by Hudson Bay Silver Mines Ltd. in 1910. Acquired by the Rusty Lake Mining Corp. in 1960 and then by Rustex Mining Corp. in 1968. The mine was shut down in 1968.'

Fine quality 8mm doubly-terminated Realgar crystal on another partial Realgar crystal. Bright red color and translucent to transparent. Green River Gorge has produced North America's finest Realgar but is seldom seen available.

Single Bournonite crystal from Japan. The crystals has high silvery metallic luster. From MINDAT: 'This district produced the first copper mined in Japan, in the year 707 C.E., early in the reign of Empress Gemmei.'

Seldomly seen specimen of pink Ephesite crystals from the Glosam Mine in South Africa. The crystals are a translucent red/pink and form tapering, hexagonal crystals to 6mm in size along a narrow Manganite matrix. The main crystal is translucent, sharp and superb. Ephesite is a rare lithium sodium aluminum silicate mineral.
