ST399 - Cobaltian Calcite $ 1500 (=~ £ 1199) SOLD Bou Azzer, Morocco cabinet - 12 x 10 x 6 cm Large mound-shaped specimen of pink Cobaltian Calcite from Morocco. Undamaged translucent crystals with great color. This was originally purchased by the previous owner for $2,000 and later acquired by me in trade. I can therefore offer it for less than the previous sale price.
ST398 - Malachite $ 450 (=~ £ 360) SOLD Bisbee, Cochise Co., Arizona, USA cabinet - 10.5 x 6 x 5 cm Specimen of solid Malachite featuring a 5.5cm stalactite of Malachite. A Bisbee classic with a velvety surface and a sawcut on the base which allows it to stand on it's own for display.
ST395 - Selenite $ 350 (=~ £ 280) SOLD Laurion, Attica, Greece large cabinet - 19 x 9 x 4 cm Large, water-clear single Selenite crystal with a distinctive yellow strip running down the center. The Selenite shows 'fish tail' twinning and has another smaller included Selenite crystal.
ST396 - Stilbite $ 350 (=~ £ 280) SOLD Maharashtra State, India cabinet - 11 x 9 x 6 cm Large cluster of peach colored Stilbite from the prolific basalt quarries in India. This is an excellent example with both larger sized crystals and better than average deep peach coloration. It's also undamaged and aesthetic.
ST420 - Rose Quartz $ 350 (=~ £ 280) Sapucaia, Minas Gerais, Brazil miniature - 5 x 3.3 x 1.3 cm Tall, narrow wall-like cluster of Rose Quartz crystals from Brazil. Great crystals with classic rose pink coloration. Can be displayed from either side.
ST433 - Emerald $ 650 (=~ £ 520) Salzburg, Austria miniature - 4.2 x 3 x 1.5 cm A 1.4cm Emerald in a dark schist matrix. The Emerald has great medium green color and lots of transparency.
ST438 - Milarite $ 300 (=~ £ 240) Milarite locality, Rössing Mountains, Erongo Region, Namibia thumbnail - 1 x 0.8 x 0.8 cm Single well terminated Milarite crystal from Namibia. Milarite is a rare silicate mineral with good crystals found at only a small number of localities worldwide. Well terminated, translucent single crystal with nicely beveled termination edges. A rare thumbnail.
ST436 - Tourmaline $ 650 (=~ £ 520) SOLD Paprok, Afghanistan miniature - 3.5 x 1 x 0.9 cm Glassy, transparent single Tourmaline with unusual coloration. It's pink at the base followed by a green zone then a colorless upper half and termination. Complete and undamaged with a steep pyramidal termination. Weighs 5.73 grams.
ST430 - Wurtzite $ 350 (=~ £ 280) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.3 x 1.6 x 1.4 cm Translucent to transparent red/orange single Wurtzite crystal. These were discovered a few years ago at the Merelani Tanzanite mines and are considered the world's best for species.
ST432 - Calcite on Dioptase in Calcite $ 400 (=~ £ 320) SOLD Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 6.5 x 4 x 2 cm Bright green Dioptase crystals included within clear, rhombic Calcite crystals that were later covered by smaller, pearly white crystals of Calcite or Dolomite. There are even a few small Dioptase crystal on top the second generation of Calcite.
ST441 - Tourmaline $ 380 (=~ £ 304) SOLD Hyakule, Sankhuwasabha District, Kosi Zone, Nepal miniature - 3.5 x 0.6 x 0.5 cm Rare gem pink Tourmaline crystal from Nepal. This is an excellent crystal for the locality, fully transparent with a greenish yellow zone near the termination. Though not as well known, Nepal has produced small amounts of some very high quality Tourmaline. Found long ago, this crystal is undamaged and weighs 2.36 grams.
