Intense, deep green Smithsonite from the 79 Mine. The Cuprian Smithsonite from the 79 Mine has some of the best green color from anywhere and this is a great wxample of that quality. Thick undamaged layers of satiny, translucent Smithsonite covering matrix. The color is a rich, deep green that grades to a more apple green on the far right side.

Gem Dravite Tourmaline crystal from Tanzania. It has high luster and the transparency is way above average. The color is superb with a more yellow green on the lower half and an intense 'chrome' green at the termination. Partially double-terminated with some Calcite attached to the backside. Often called 'Chrome Tourmaline' these are a chromium and vanadium rich Dravite.

Undamaged single Amethyst crystal with the top 'grape jelly' color. Complete, transparent crystal that is partially double-terminated. This is a thumbnail sized example of the top quality that sell for many thousands of dollars when larger.

A 2.3cm pseudo octahedral Ruby crystal in matrix from Winza. Many from this locality show a mixture of red and purple coloration, this one is almost all red with just a hint of purple coloration in one small area. A complete, translucent crystal that displays well. These are now hard to find.

Large, transparent single Wulfenite crystal with attached white Hydrozincite. It has a cleave along one edge (that is not distracting) otherwise it's pristine. Displays equally well from either side and has a small attached Lucite stand. Choice old classic.

Transparent 2.5cm Calcite crystal on matrix from Tsumeb. The matrix is a reddish Dolomite covered with green Duftite making an overall colorful specimen.

Superb example of blue Celestite from the quarrys near Salem, Indiana. Well crystallized all around with areas of transparency and highly glassy. An undamaged beauty.
