Gem quality 3.5cm Aquamarine crystal on Albite with Smokey Quartz. This locality has produced some of California's best ever Aquamarine specimens and this is a good one and a less common matrix specimen for the find. It's a pristine floater, crystallized all around (even the bottom shows Quartz crystal faces). The Aqua has etched terminations on each end and is transparent. I was told by a gem dealer familiar with this material that this one is especially good for cutting compared to most which have internal veils, and this one has approximately $1200 in cutting value alone. Clearly a major matrix Aquamarine from the state of California.
