Intensely colored blue Fluorite crystal from the La Barre Mine. The color is a pleasing deep blue, just what you would want in Fluorite, with lots of well defined phantoms. There is some edge wear but it's in good condition overall, and highly transparent. I think it looks nicer in person than the photos as you can see the depth and range of colors better. Comes with a custom Lucite base.

Black opal that has completely replaced a section of fossil Bamboo from recent finds in Java. It has a bright play of color on one side and also shows fine detail of the former bamboo. These were found in the past 2 years and are uncommon. You can find the color on the outside surfaces of many of these, but what makes this piece uncommon and much rarer than most is the pinfire color visible on both ends, indicating that there is play of color inside the entire specimen! Few have this.
