Blue/green 'Indicolite' Tourmaline grown on and within a cluster of Quartz crystals. The largest Quartz crystal is 11cm and double-terminated. The Tourmaline are gemmy with great color and reach 8cm in length. Not all are terminated, but the important ones at the top, near the termination of the large Quartz crystal, are terminated. I also love the terminated Tourmaline that can be clearly seen within the main Quartz crystal. Neat specimen out of an old collection built in the 1960s and 70s.

Rare psuedomorph of royal blue Shattuckite that has replaced Cuprite crystals. This of one of the rarer Tantara psuedomorphs, and one of only a very few I've ever seen. The entire specimen is composed of somewhat flat, interlocking octahedral crystals to 2cm in size. There is an area of Dioptase crystals in the center, some of which are broken. A true rarity!

C439 - Quartz $ 325 (=~ CAN$ 0)

cabinet - 9.5 x 7 x 5.5 cm

Quartz from Democratic Republic of Congo [db_pics/pics/c439a.jpg] Quartz from Democratic Republic of Congo [db_pics/pics/c439b.jpg] Quartz from Democratic Republic of Congo [db_pics/pics/c439c.jpg]

New find of unusual smokey/citrine Quartz crystals from the Congo. I found this with one dealer at the 2018 Tucson show. There were perhaps a couple dozen available, this being the best and least damaged and the only one I purchased. It's complete all around and fully surrounded by the smaller side crystals.
