A large, well formed single Sphene crystal from teh relatively new Mondo Mine. The locality is primarily mined for Quartz, but occassionally a good Sphene is found. This is as large and sharp and Sphene as I have seen from this locality so far. Good on front and back with gem zones.

Interconnected spheres of purple Chalcedony known as Grape Agate. For my taste, Grape Agates need to have 3 things: uniform deep purple color; sparkling luster; and be composed of nothing but spheres without contacts. This specimen hits all the criteria.
