Large Scheelite crystal on Quartz from the Tae Hwa Mine. Before the Chinese Scheelites started coming out, this was the world's best locality for Scheeltie. The mine was active from 1902 to 1973 and these are now classics. The scheelite group is 6.5cm wide and is partially intergrown with Ferberite. There is a small ding on one corner, otherwise it's perfect. The Quartz is sawcut flat on the base and it stands up on it's own for display.

Satiny Malachite crystal cluster, 2.2cm, in matrix with minor Azurite. Interestingly, it appears that plant roots invaded the vug at some point and grew around the Malachite. I bought this many years ago in Tucson and have held it in my collection ever since.
