Old, seldom seen Phosgenite crystal group. Although etched looking in areas, it is fully crystallized all around, a floater. No damage.

Deep amber colored cubic Fluorite over purple Fluorite. This is an old piece, probably at least 50 years old and potentially much older. Mining in this area started in the 15th century, the exact mine name is unknown.

Amethyst crystal group with top purple color for the locality. These are sometimes called 'Cactus Quartz' and are no longer plentiful, however those with top color such as this were never plentiful. Undamaged except for one tiny chip, attractive formation.

Large single Herderite crystal with good purple color from the mine that has produced the world's best. This is a very large crystal and in good condition with many typical faces, etched (but glassy) faces, and a couple areas of contact.

Gem quality purple/pink Kunzite crystal with a good termination. Back side of crystal appears to be a cleavage face. Weighs 147 grams.

Partially etched purple Fluorite cubes. These are the classic etched corners the mine is known for. This one however is uncommon as it is 3 intergrown cubes, each etched away to one corner each. A little bit of white Calcite grew upon the Fluorite after the etching was completed.

Bright mirror lustrous Carrollite crystal, 2.8cm, on white Calcite. Displays beautifully.

A 2.7cm wide cluster of Proustite crystals on matrix. Though very old, the Proustite retains a bright red color.

Rhodochrosite over Manganite with a bright pink outler layer over alternating light pink and darker pink layers. The crystal form is one of the rarer types from the mine.

Quartz crystal cluster partially covered by Fluorite from a one time find many years ago. The Quartz are elongated crystals covered by tiny dark purple crystals with larger sharp, Fluorite octahedra on the right side. Undamaged all around with contact on the bottom where it was attached.  Backside is covered with purple Fluorite too.  Largest Fluorite is 2.2cm on the diagonal.
