Large and aesthetic flat grouping of Copper crystals. Displayable from either side. Ex. Len Pisciotta collection (Len's old label shows a price of $1200).
LP379 - Bournonite Machacamarca District, Potosi Department, Bolivia miniature - 5 x 4 x 2.5 cm
A silvery metallic 'cogwheel' of Bournonite in matrix. The main crystal is 2.5 cm wide and in perfect condition. There is another partial crystal and small Pyrite and Sphalerite crystals coating the matrix. Saw cut on bottom.
LP842 - Galena (skeletal) 9th of September Mine, Madan, Bulgaria cabinet - 10 x 6 x 5.5 cm
Cluster of hoppered (skeletal) Galena crystals from the 9th of September Mine in Bulgaria. These are true skeletal Galena (not the man-made variety that were circulating years ago!) and occur with Sphalerite and Pyrite crystals. Undamaged and well crystallized all around, essentially a floater.
LP648 - Cerussite with Dolomite Touissit, Morocco miniature - 4 x 4 x 3 cm
Crystals of Cerussite with curves, pink Dolomite crystals atop a matrix of solid Galena. Looks somewhat similar to Cerussite specimens from Mibladen (which are associated with thin blades of pink Barite), but it's from Touissit! Comes with 2 old labels.
LP941 - Amethyst scepter South Africa cabinet - 12.5 x 8 x 6.5 cm
Large Amethyst scepter atop white Quartz crystals. The Amethyst is doubly-terminated with medium purple coloration and is complete all around with very minimal edge wear. This was traded out of an old collection in Europe and no further locality information was provided.

Shallow vug in Limonite lined with hemispherical clusters of blue Scorodite. The Scorodite are covered in transparent Selenite in areas.

Shallow vug in Limonite lined with octahedral crystals of blue Scorodite.
LP892 - Sampleite North Parkes Mine, near Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia miniature - 5 x 4 x 2 cm
This is a fine representative specimen from one of the most important localities for this rare copper-bearing phosphate species. This specimen was field collected pre 2012. None or very few specimens remain on the dumps of this mine. It had a very shallow oxidized zone and the future of mineral specimen production at this locality is bleak.

A 4.5cm doubly-terminated Bustamite on matrix. The Bustamite is translucent and undamaged and occurs with white Apophyllite and other smaller Bustamite crystals.
LP773 - Molybdenite Wolfram Camp Mine, Queensland, Australia small cabinet - 9 x 5.5 x 4 cm
Silvery metallic Molybdenite on both sides of white Quartz. Large, bright example from the classic Australian locality that one of the world's best sources of fine Molydenite specimens.
AU117 - Crocoite Adelaide Mine, Dundas, Zeehan, Tasmania, Australia large cabinet - 16 x 13 x 8 cm
Large specimen of jackstraw clusteres of red Crocoite crystals. This is solid Crocoite crystals without matrix, a huge mass of crystals!
AU202 - Scorodite with Beudantite Mina Oujela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico thumbnail - 1.5 x 1.1 x 1 cm
Cluster of blue Scorodite crystals with crystals to 1cm in size. The Scorodite are are lightly coated by golden brown Beudantite crystals (an uncommon lead, iron arsenate mineral).

Thick single crystal of blue Scorodite crystal lightly coated by golden brown Beudantite crystals (an uncommon lead, iron arsenate mineral). Complete floater single crystal.

Single gem quality Emerald crystal from old finds in Jos, Nigeria. Highly transparent with a steep beveled termination. Complete all around and undamaged.

Glassy, complete V-twin crystal of Cerussite from Tiger. Comes with an old label from the Sterling Hill Mining Museum.
