B759 - Calcite $ 250 (=~ AUS$ 330) SOLD Wessels Mine, South Africa small cabinet - 5.3 x 5 x 1.7 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Transparent Calcite rhomb with later geneation overgrowths. The larger overgrowths are transparent and the smaller overgrowths are extremely bright and reflective, much better than the photos. Ex. E.J. Immelman and P. de Bruyn collections dating back to at least 1997.

B495 - Brookite $ 300 (=~ AUS$ 396) Kharan Mountain, Balochistan, Pakistan miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A 3cm Brookite crystal on matrix with Quartz crystals.
B321 - Dioptase $ 500 (=~ AUS$ 660) Katanga Prov., Congo miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 3.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Solid cluster of nothing but Dioptase crystals, with the focus on a central, large upright crystal. Main crystal is 1.5cm in diameter, rises up 1.5cm higher than the others, and is undamaged.
SA720 - Brazilianite $ 300 (=~ AUS$ 396) Telerio Mine, Mendes Pimental, Minas Gerais, Brazil miniature - 3.7 x 3.0 x 2.4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Attractive cluster of glassy and gemmy Brazilianite with the main crystal a thick 3.5cm long crystal. Undamaged and sits upright on its own.
TZ252 - Prehnite $ 300 (=~ AUS$ 396) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 4 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Blue Prehnite specimen about as good as these get form wise as most of these are massess of crystals with at least some damage around the edges. This is a clean group front and back, nearly a floater with some traces of Graphite on the bottom where it was attached. These have a nice color change between shades of blue in different lighting.
E597 - Rhodochrosite and Sphalerite on Pyrite psuedo. Pyrrhotite $ 350 (=~ AUS$ 462) Trepca Mine, Stanterg, Kosovo small cabinet - 7.5 x 5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 4cm wide by 3.5cm tall crystal of Pyrrhotite that has been replaced by Pyrite, coated by pale pink spheres of Rhodochrosite.
C286 - Diaspore $ 950 (=~ AUS$ 1254) Aydun, Mugula, Turkey miniature - 4 x 2.5 x 1.1 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Bright and gemmy V-twin crystal of Diaspore. This is about as free of damage as they get, with both tips undamaged with natural tapering terminations or possibly with flat contact faces on parts. It's also very glassy and bright with lots of internal transparency.
C319 - Tanzanite $ 350 (=~ AUS$ 462) SOLD Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 3.2 x 1.2 x 1.1 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Single pink Tanzanite crystal with attached Calcite and/or Zeolites in large, distict crystals, only one like it in the lot. Solid base that tapers out towards the top into multiple, feathery terminations. Pink is one the rarest colors for Tanzanite (or Zoisite if you prefer) and this one has well saturated color. Complete and undamaged. Unusual crystal from a late 2017 find.
K234 - Prehnite $ 750 (=~ AUS$ 990) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania small cabinet - 5.5 x 5 x 4.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Spherical, mound-shaped Prehnite with large, chunky crystals. This is a very good one in terms of form, size, color, and quality. Nearly pristine with just a couple minor nicked crystal tips.
K305 - Prehnite with Calcite, Tanzanite $ 1800 (=~ AUS$ 2376) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania small cabinet - 8.5 x 5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Individual spheres of yellow Prehnite grown in and around flat crystals of white Calcite. This is one of the most beautiful Merelani Prehnites I've ever seen. A fibrous blue Tanzanite and small white crystals (Laumontite?) are attached to the backside. A floater with no points of attachment and little to no damage.
K323 - Chalcopyrite with Quartz $ 280 (=~ AUS$ 370) Madan, Rhodope Mts., Bulgaria cabinet - 9.5 x 7.5 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Stunningly attractive specimen of transparent Quartz with bright, brassy Chalcopyrite crystals. These are fairly common minerals, but in a combination and form to produce this beauty. Both minerals are evenly distributed and in good condition with just a few missing Quartz crystals. The Quartz are uniform in size and transparent. An overall very bright and showy specimen.
K243 - Tsavorite, Pyrite on Graphite $ 350 (=~ AUS$ 462) SOLD Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania small cabinet - 9 x 5 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Bright, complex Pyrite crystals to 2cm with Tsavorite and Diopside crystals on a matrix of solid Graphite. Highly aesthetic, undamaged specimen.
J447 - Smoky Quartz, Manganocalcite, Pyrite and Calcite $ 220 (=~ AUS$ 290) Cavnic, Romania cabinet - 10.5 x 7.0 x 6.0 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A pair of large, double-terminated, Smoky Quartz crystals in parallel with each other, with a nice accent of brassy Pyrite crystals, faint pink color Manganocalcite, and white Calcite crystals. A beautiful combination of species with no apparant damage and only minimal chipping on the bottom.
J387 - Calcite, Galena on Sphalerite $ 275 (=~ AUS$ 363) Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Tennessee, USA small cabinet - 7 x 5.5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Double-terminated twinned Calcite crystal intergrown with highly lustrous Galena crystals all atop Sphalerite. There are some cleavage faces on one termination of the Calcite, but also nice pointed ends that make it not as noticable. The Galena cubes reach 2cm in size and the combination makes for an attractive specimen good when viewed from any angle.
