LL482 - Copper in Calcite $ 450 Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan, USA thumbnail - 2.6 x 2.5 x 2.3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Gem-like double-terminated Calcite crystal with attached and included Copper. The crystal is 1.7cm wide and undamaged. You can see right thought it to the matrix. There are smaller Calcite crystals present too. Ex. Bob Reynolds collection.
LL812 - Vivianite $ 800 Huanuni Mine, Dalence Prov., Oruru Department, Bolivia miniature - 4.5 x 2.4 x 1.4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Transparent blue/green double-terminated Vivianite crystal with attached radial crystals of Siderite. Complete all around and undamaged. This one has it all - great color, transparency, and double-terminated form which is uncommon.

LL459 - Diopside on Graphite $ 450 SOLD Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania small cabinet - 7.5 x 4.5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, glassy green crystals of Diopside to 2.7 x 1.5cm all over a matrix of black Graphite. There are good Diopside crystals all over, front, back, top, and bottom. There are also areas with good Graphite crystals.
LL484 - Ettringite $ 300 N'Chwanning Mine, Kuruman, South Africa thumbnail - 2.5 x 2 x 1.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Intergrown group of lemon yellow Ettringite crystals. Main crystal is double-terminated and thick at 1.7 x 1.5 cm. There is also a small metallic black tabular crystal sticking out one side, possibly Hematite.

K781 - Pyrite $ 150 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 4.5 x 4.5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, complex single Pyrite crystal with high luster. The exotic crystal forms and high luster of Merelani Pyrite make it my favorite of any Pyrite found. There are two smaller attached crystals and it's contacted on the base, otherwise complete all around with just a few chips and great overall form and presentation.
K827 - Apatite on Diopside (?) $ 250 Chamkoroma, Dodoma Province, Tanzania miniature - 4 x 3 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A 2.4 terminated Apatite crystal attached to two terminated green crystals (possibly Diopside or other Pyroxene). This is relatively new material and the only aesthetic specimen that I saw of the material. The Apatite is translucent and gets transparent near the termination. There is also a small amount of transparent, colorless Hyalite Opal attached to the green crystals.

T841 - Wurtzite $ 600 SOLD Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.5 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Well formed, thick Wurtzite crystal, complete all around and undamaged. There is Graphite, Diopside, Pyrite, and a partial Tanzanite crystal attached to the surface. Stunning thumbnail.
T614 - Chrome Tremolite $ 300 SOLD Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.8 x 2.2 x 1.2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Good sized, terminated Chrome Tremolite crystal with excellent color. This is a little larger than most, and has an excellent, multi-faced termination. It also has outstanding color, and appears to have some cutting quality gems zones inside too.
T129 - Epistilbite $ 320 Jalgoan, Maharashtra, India small cabinet - 6 x 5 x 4.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sperical cluster of Epistilbite crystals in an open vug in basalt. The crystals are highly lustrous and extend out from the center to varying distances creating a neat visual effect. Unfortunately one crystal at the very edge where the matrix broke away in incomplete. The rest of the spherical mass is perfect.
T107 - Chrome Tourmaline $ 1100 Nadonjukin, Simanjiro, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.6 x 1.5 x 1.2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Uncommon intergrown cluster of 4 Chrome Tourmaline crystals, which is a chromium and vanadium rich Dravite. Complete all around with deep emerald green coloration in the upper half and a more olive green in the lower half. Fantastic color and the entire crystal is flawless to highly gemmy. Undamaged except for a small chip on a sidecar crystal (there is a bit of natural, irregular growth on one termination edge). From a spectacular pocket opened in 2016. Weighs 7.9 grams.

B818 - Fluorite over Tourmaline $ 350 Stak Nala, Skardu District, Pakistan miniature - 3.7 x 3 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Single Fluorite crystal that has overgrown a single Tourmaline crystal. The bas of the Tourmaline can be seen at the bottom, along with a small amount of Albite. Great color!
