Purple/red Almandine garnet crystal exposed in a schist matrix from the well known Wrangell Island locality. The crystal is 1.5cm wide with red flashes. Saw cut on base.

Intergrown cluster of tabular blue Alkali Beryl crystals, Tourmaline, and Mica. The Beryl crystals reach 1.3cm in size with glassy luster on the thin edges. The colorful Tourmaline crystals show light etching. Well crystallized all around. Note that these were once thought to be the Cesium rich species Vorobyevite but analyses did not show Cesium and this name has since been discredited.

Three crystals of translucent to transparent Apatite crystals in a vug with Quartz crystals. The crystals have good purple color with the main Apatite crystal 1cm in size. Sawcut on base and one side.

Vivid lime green Smithsonite crystals on matrix from Tsumeb. The crystals are translucent to transparent and sit on a matrix of cream colored Dolomite. The main crystal group is 9mm wide and sits up off the matrix, well exposed all around. Pristine. Ex. Tim Sherburn collection.

Complete single Alabandite crystal from the Merelani Tanzanite mines in Tanzania. This is a high quality, complete crystal with smooth faces and all 6 tips present. There is a natural pit on one side where the crystal formed around a knob of Graphite and there is some Graphite remaining, along with small Diopside crystals. Merelani Alabandite are considered the world's best and largest examples of the species. A very nice example from the Tim Sherburn collection.

Amazing, complete 'pinwheel' of peach colored Stellerite and a small amount of matrix. This incredible Stellerite is complete all the way around, 360 degrees, with a smaller cluster in the center. Ex. Tim Sherburn collection.

Clusters of sky blue Hemimorphite over darker blue/green Rosasite from recent finds in the Congo. The Hemimorphite forms satiny hemispherical mounds. Most found were solid druses of Hemimorphite without Rosasite and specimens such as this with more isolated clusters on the Rosasite were uncommon. Highly aesthetic specimen for the find.

Exceedingly large single pink Cobaltian Calcite crystal from the Congo. This is a complete scalenohedral crystal that is partially doubly terminated along the bottom. Translucent and undamaged with green Kolwezite adding color contrast. This is the largest single Cobaltian Calcite I've ever seen from the locality. Last photo is backlit.

Doubly-terminated Quartz crystal attached to a doubly-terminated blue/green Tourmaline crystal. This is a classic and aesthetic Brazilian Tourmaline combo. The Tourmaline is 6 x 1.1cm in size and transparent to translucent. Purple Lepidolite attached to the Quartz adds color contrast. The crystal has one repair and a slight amount of restoration along the repair. Comes with a custom Lucite base.

Doubly-terminated Quartz crystal with an attached doubly-terminated blue/green Tourmaline crystal. This is a classic and aesthetic Brazilian Tourmaline combo. The Tourmaline is 3.4 x 0.8cm in size and transparent to translucent. Purple Lepidolite adds color contrast. The crystal has one repair and was reattached to the Quartz crystal.

Unusual Milpillas specimen composed of thin, wafer-like Azurite crystals with a much different than normal, lighter bright blue coloration. The Azurite blades are intergrown with sky-blue Shattuckite. Some of the Azurite have pseudomorphed to a bright green Malachite providing even more wild coloration to this specimen.

Rare and beautiful gem Azurite crystal from a small find in 2018 at the Christiana Mine in Greece. This is an outstanding and aesthetic Greek Azurite with glossy luster and associated Malachite and Calcite. Vivid blue and transparent with backlighting. Ex. Jon Sigerman.
