LV359 - Sylvanite with Tellurium $ 200 (=~ AUS$ 305) Emperor Mine, Tavua Gold Field, Viti Levu, Fiji thumbnail - 3 x 2.5 x 1 cm Specimen with both Sylvanite and Tellurium from Fiji. This gold mine has geology that is similar to that of Cripple Creek has produced exceptional specimens of various gold tellurides over the years.
MK451 - Tourmaline with Lepidolite $ 275 (=~ AUS$ 419) Stak Nala, Skardu, Pakistan miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 3 cm Tourmaline and Lepidolite crystals on Feldspar from Stak Nala. The Tourmaline crystals reach 3.3cm in length, are well terminated, and grade from dark green at the base up to medium green with thin colorless zones at the terminations.
LV356 - Carrollite $ 240 (=~ AUS$ 366) Kamoya South Mine, Kambove, Katanga, Congo small cabinet - 6 x 5 x 3 cm Bright mirror lustrous Carrollite crystals in a vug in white Calcite. The crystals reach 1cm in size and are undamaged with top luster.
MK452 - Andradite $ 500 (=~ AUS$ 762) Gray Throne Prospect, Graham Co., Arizona, USA small cabinet - 8.5 x 6 x 4 cm Highly lustrous large crystals of Andradite from the lesser known Arizona locality located relatively close to the more well known Stanley Butte locality. The specimen is solid Andradite with greenish golden crystals to 2cm in size on the front face. Fine quality rare specimen that is excellent for the locality.
MK459 - Anglesite $ 750 (=~ AUS$ 1144) Touissit, Oujda-Angag Prov., Morocco small cabinet - 5.7 x 4 x 1.3 cm Large single Anglesite from Touissit, Morocco. Translucent with transparent areas and a light yellow coloration. Well crystallized on both sides with one edge chip otherwise remarkably perfect all around. Both sides shown.
MK461 - Smithsonite $ 280 (=~ AUS$ 427) Kelly Mine, Magdelena, New Mexico, USA small cabinet - 8 x 4 x 3 cm Satiny, translucent Smithsonite from the Kelly Mine. Bright sky blue coloration. Sawcut on back and bottom, ex. James Ahl collection.
MK462 - Cuprian Smithsonite $ 3000 (=~ AUS$ 4575) Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 7 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm Gorgeous lime green crystals of Cuprian Smithsonite from Tsumeb. The top face is completely covered by translucent, lustrous crystals. The bottom is vuggy with additional good Smithsonite crystals. Ex. Andrew Neely collection.
MK469 - Tellurium $ 200 (=~ AUS$ 305) Lone Pine Mine, Catron Co., New Mexico, USA miniature - 3.5 x 3 x 2 cm Rich specimen of metallic grey native Tellurium in matrix. The Tellurium is present all throughout the specimen.
MK487 - Azurite $ 1500 (=~ AUS$ 2287) Watercourse Pocket, Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico small cabinet - 5.5 x 3.4 x 2.3 cm Floater cluster of intergrown Azurite crystals from the now closed Milpillas Mine. Bright, vibrant blue crystals all around without matrix, typical style for the Watercourse Pocket. Undamaged.
MK491 - Cinnabar $ 500 (=~ AUS$ 762) Yanwuping Mines, Guizhou, China cabinet - 10.5 x 6.5 x 3 cm Classic Cinnabar penetration twin on drusy Quartz with Dolomite. The Cinnabar crystal is perfect and translucent red when backlit.
MK493 - Cassiterite $ 250 (=~ AUS$ 381) Viloco Mine, La Paz, Bolivia miniature - 4.8 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm Large, lustrous black crystals of Cassiterite. Main crystal is 3cm in size!
MK495 - Cerussite with Barite $ 125 (=~ AUS$ 191) Mibladen, Morocco miniature - 5 x 3 x 2.5 cm Glassy and lustrous 1.2cm Cerussite crystal with bladed pink Barite crystals.
MK497 - Apatite $ 300 (=~ AUS$ 457) Crystal Lode Pegmatite, Fulford, Eagle Co., Colorado, USA miniature - 3.5 x 3 x 2.8 cm Single yellow Apatite crystal from a pegmatite in the Fulford mining district. This locality is not well known and these crystals are rarely seen for sale. This is a translucent crystal (with gem areas), perfectly terminated, complete all around and undamaged.
MK498 - Chalcopyrite on Calcite $ 150 (=~ AUS$ 229) Brushy Creek Mine, Viburnum Trend, Reynolds Co., Missouri, USA small cabinet - 6.7 x 3.5 x 3 cm Scalenohedral Calcite crystals partially coated by sparkling irridescent Chalcopyrite crystals. Fine quality undamaged crystals to over 4cm in length.
LV367 - Orthoclase $ 95 (=~ AUS$ 145) Anjanabononoia, Manapa pegmatite Field, Betafo, Madagascar thumbnail - 1.2 x 1 x 1 cm Gem quality Orthoclase (Feldspar), a rarity for the species. Colorless and totally transparent with good crystal faces.
