LL681 - Clinoclase $ 1800 (=~ £ 1334) Copper Stope, Majuba Hill Mine, Pershing Co., Nevada, USA large cabinet - 18 x 9 x 5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large and impressive specimen of Clinoclase from the now defunct Majuba Hill Mine. Deep blue, lustrous crystals cover much of the front display face. Sawcut on back and base. This is the largest, richest good Clinoclase I've seen from Majuba.
LL541 - Almandine $ 600 (=~ £ 445) Garnet Hill, Ely, White Pine Co., Nevada, USA miniature - 5 x 4.5 x 2.2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large 1.8cm Almandine crystal on pink Rhyolite. An especially good example for this occurrence, probably the best I've seen. Undamaged.
LL484 - Ettringite $ 300 (=~ £ 222) N'Chwanning Mine, Kuruman, South Africa thumbnail - 2.5 x 2 x 1.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Intergrown group of lemon yellow Ettringite crystals. Main crystal is double-terminated and thick at 1.7 x 1.5 cm. There is also a small metallic black tabular crystal sticking out one side, possibly Hematite.

Colorful and unusual Azurite specimen.
LL462 - Roselite $ 350 (=~ £ 259) Bou Azzer District, Ouarzazate Province, Draa-Tafilalet, Morocco small cabinet - 5.5 x 5 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Translucent deep purple/red Roselite crystals on Calcite crystals. Good coverage of relatively large crystals. Ex. Bob Reynolds collection and comes wtih an old Kristalle label.
LL417 - Ferberite with Fluorite $ 400 (=~ £ 296) Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan, China small cabinet - 8 x 5.2 x 3.2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large terminated Ferberite crystal, complete all around. Thick and heavy with a small fluorite cube, Muscovite, and Calcite attached.
LL547 - Quartz var. Herkimer Diamond $ 350 (=~ £ 259) Herkimer, New York, USA miniature - 4 x 3.5 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Double-terminated, water-clear Quartz crystals. Main crystal is 3.3cm with 3 smaller crystals stacked on top. Undamaged.
LL460 - Spinel $ 500 (=~ £ 370) Twin Lakes Limestone deposit, Lower Twin Lake, Twin Lakes, Fresno Co., California, USA small cabinet - 6.5 x 5.2 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Well formed, translucent octahedrons of blue Spinel to 7mm in size associated with brown Pargasite crystals. Sawcut on back. Collected by Chuck Trantham and Al McGuinness in 1986. Chuck's label indicates locality as 'Locality 2, Twin Lakes area, Fresno Co., California, USA'.
LL418 - Malachite $ 125 (=~ £ 93) Katanga, Congo (DRC) small cabinet - 7.3 x 6 x 0.6 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Cut and polished slice of a Malachite stalactite with great color banding. Good polsih on both sides.
LL513 - Acanthite $ 350 (=~ £ 259) Reyes Mine, Guanajuato, Mexico thumbnail - 2.6 x 2 x 1.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cubic, stepped crystal cluster of Acanthite, a Silver sulfide mineral famous from this mine. Undamaged and complete all around. Ex. Bob Reynolds collection.
LL489 - Whiteite $ 300 (=~ £ 222) Rapid Creek, Yukon, Canada thumbnail - 2.8 x 2 x 1.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, blocky single Whiteite crystal with a smaller crystal intergrown. Complete all around and undamaged. This is the best locality for this rare species and this is an excellent, large example. Ex. Bob Reynolds collection.
LL1100 - Morganite, Schorl, Spessartine $ 750 (=~ £ 556) Little 3 Mine, Ramona, San Diego Co., California, USA small cabinet - 6.5 x 5.5 x 4.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() A mound of white Albite crystals hosting a 3cm elongated Morganite crystal, a thick 3.5cm Schorl, and an 8mm Spessartine. The Spessartine grew between two crystals and has a couple flat sides, but it is gemmy with that famous citrus orange color. The Morganite has been reattached to the matrix. LL482 - Copper in Calcite $ 450 (=~ £ 333) Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan, USA thumbnail - 2.6 x 2.5 x 2.3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Gem-like double-terminated Calcite crystal with attached and included Copper. The crystal is 1.7cm wide and undamaged. You can see right thought it to the matrix. There are smaller Calcite crystals present too. Ex. Bob Reynolds collection.
