LL608 - Barite with Sphalerite $ 900 (=~ £ 667) Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Tennessee, USA cabinet - 11.5 x 9 x 9 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Spherical cluster of white Barite on a narrow strip of Dolstone matrix. Hemispherical masses of Barite like this were common enough from Elmwood, but I've never before seen such a complete sphere. The Barite sphere is 9cm in size and is intergrown with small Sphalerite and yellow Calcite crystals. Unusual and undamaged with Sphalerite crystals attached to the matrix. Ex. Ametrine $ 750 (=~ £ 556) Anahi Mine, La Gaiba Mining District, Santa Cruz, Bolivia cabinet - 11.8 x 4 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large transparent crystal of Ametrine (Quartz that is part Amethyst and part Citrine). It has typical etched form with a flat faces on the termination. Color zones of purple and yellow can be sieen inside this transparent crystal. There are two small dings otherwise this is perfect and one of the better examples I've seen. Ex. Bob Reynolds collection.

LL662 - Olivenite $ 300 (=~ £ 222) Copper Stope, Majuba Hill Mine, Pershing Co., Nevada, USA miniature - 3.8 x 3 x 1.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Densely clustered crystals of Olivenite on matrix from the now defunct Majuba Hill Mine. Deep forest green crystals cover much of the matrix. There are some chipped crystals along the edges but the vast majority are perfect. This is an uncommonly rich example for the mine.

LL623 - Brochantite $ 600 (=~ £ 445) Milpillas Mine, cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico miniature - 4.6 x 3.3 x 2.3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Jackstraw cluster of large Brochantite crystals. Main crystal is a large 4.6cm in length. The crystals have a bright, electric green coloration. This mine is now closed and no more will be coming out.
LL675 - Quartz with Glaucophane inclusions $ 120 (=~ £ 89) Mount Tamalpais, Marin Co., California, USA small cabinet - 8 x 2 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Double-terminated Quartz crystal with inclusions of blue/grey Glaucophane. The area of crystals is 4cm wide. An excellent example for the locality and of the species.
LL658 - Clinoclase on Cornubite Copper Stope, Majuba Hill Mine, Pershing Co., Nevada, USA small cabinet - 5.7 x 3.3 x 0.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Deep blue crystals of Clinoclase over green Cornubite from the now defunct Majuba Hill Mine. Both the front and back have great crystals and display equally well.
