LL184 - Lepidolite on Microcline $ 220 (=~ AUS$ 290) Himalaya Mine, San Diego Co., California, USA cabinet - 11 x 6.5 x 6 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, blocky Carlsbad-twinned Microcline crystal with attached purple Lepidolite and white blades of Albite. These are classics from the Himalaya Mine and like most, shows light etching on the sides. Large and complete all around with no damage.

Edingtonite is a rare member of the zeolite group and this locality has produced some of the world's best for the species. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection and comes with an old Al McGuinness label.

Thaumasite is a rare mineral in the Ettringite group, the best were found at the N'Chwanning. This is an old piece I bought from Clive Queit at the Tucson show about 20 years ago. He had a number of specimen at the time but this was the only double-terminated crystal I've ever seen.
