ST397 - Galena Treece, Kansas, USA small cabinet - 9 x 6 x 5.5 cm Bright metallic Galena cubes to 2.5cm on a silicified limestone matrix with red 'Ruby-Jack' Sphalerite crystals, Dolomite, and Calcite crystals from Treece, Kansas. The Galena are present on one side, but the specimen detached in the pocket and the Sphalerite and Calcite are present on all sides, making this a floater.
ST420 - Rose Quartz $ 350 Sapucaia, Minas Gerais, Brazil miniature - 5 x 3.3 x 1.3 cm Tall, narrow wall-like cluster of Rose Quartz crystals from Brazil. Great crystals with classic rose pink coloration. Can be displayed from either side.
ST433 - Emerald $ 650 Salzburg, Austria miniature - 4.2 x 3 x 1.5 cm A 1.4cm Emerald in a dark schist matrix. The Emerald has great medium green color and lots of transparency.
ST438 - Milarite $ 300 Milarite locality, Rössing Mountains, Erongo Region, Namibia thumbnail - 1 x 0.8 x 0.8 cm Single well terminated Milarite crystal from Namibia. Milarite is a rare silicate mineral with good crystals found at only a small number of localities worldwide. Well terminated, translucent single crystal with nicely beveled termination edges. A rare thumbnail.
ST430 - Wurtzite $ 350 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.3 x 1.6 x 1.4 cm Translucent to transparent red/orange single Wurtzite crystal. These were discovered a few years ago at the Merelani Tanzanite mines and are considered the world's best for species.
ST442 - Tetrahedrite $ 450 Casapalca Mine, Huarochirà Province, Lima, Peru miniature - 3.2 x 3 x 1.8 cm Lustrous, sharp, dark metallic-gray tetrahedrite with small amounts of attached Pyrite from Casaplaca, one of the premiere localities for the species. The main crystal is large sized at 3cm and the cluster as a whole is very aesthetic.
ST552 - Tantalite $ 200 Kunar, Afghanistan thumbnail - 3 x 2.5 x 2 cm Complete and undamaged tabular Tantalite crystal with attached Albite. I can see a bit of red coloration on some edges so it's perhaps Manganotantalite.
ST560 - Dioptase $ 500 Mindouli District, Pool Department, Congo thumbnail - 2.7 x 1.5 x 1.5 cm Aesthetic cluster of large, elongated Dioptase crystals. Undamaged. This is from the Lou Schwartz collection and one of the earlier pieces found at the locality.
ST472 - Dioptase $ 300 Mindouli District, Pool Department, Congo thumbnail - 2.2 x 0.8 x 0.8 cm Large, elongated single Dioptase crystal. Undamaged, transparent to translucent with attached white Calcite around the base. Exceptional single thumbnail Dioptase.
ST555 - Tourmaline $ 220 St. Anne's Mine, Miami, Karoi District, Zimbabwe small cabinet - 6.2 x 0.6 x 0.5 cm Long, dark green but transparent single Tourmaline crystal from recent production at the famous St. Anne's mine in Zimbabwe. Tourmaline has been very rare from this mine historically, which has primarily targeted blue Topaz. Though dark, it is transparent facet grade throughout with a more greenish brown at the tip and a bright pure green over the rest of the crystal. Complete and undamaged and weighs 4.86 grams.
ST536 - Hematite with Quartz $ 600 Buckskin Mts, La Paz Co., Arizona, USA small cabinet - 6 x 5.5 x 4 cm Stunning Hematite and Quartz specimen from the Buckskin Mountains in Arizona. Mirror lustrous tabular crystals to over 1cm in size associated with clear Quartz crystals and white Albite.
