ST215 - Kolwezite after Cuprite on Cobaltian Calcite $ 550 (=~ £ 440) Kolwezi Mining District, Lualaba, DR Congo miniature - 5 x 4 x 2.2 cm Dark olive green crystals of Kolwezite that have pseudomorphed Cuprite crystals atop vivid pink Cobaltoan Calcite (or possibly Cobaltoan Dolomite) creating a stunning mixture of colors and forms. Kolwezite is a Copper Cobalt Carbonate Hydroxide and this is the type locality for the species.
ST204 - Malachite on Cobaltian Calcite $ 1500 (=~ £ 1199) Kolwezi Mining District, Lualaba, DR Congo large cabinet - 20 x 13 x 5 cm Large specimen of vivid pink Cobaltoan Calcite (or possibly Cobaltoan Dolomite) that displays well on both sides. The front side has large crystals to 3cm in size and a very deep pink, almost purple coloration. The backside has areas of green Malachite and black Heterogenite. A beautiful large display piece that will add lots of color to a case of minerals.

The Kolwezite is partially coated by bright green Malachite in areas. Kolwezite is a Copper Cobalt Carbonate Hydroxide and this is the type locality for the species. Highly colorful and beautiful large display piece.

ST192 - Cobaltian Calcite on Quartz Kolwezi Mining District, Lualaba, DR Congo small cabinet - 5.5 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm Unusual finger-like formations of pink Cobaltoan Calcite in a Quartz crystal lined vug. The individual crystal aggregates reach 8mm tall. There are so many neat and unusual minerals found in this part of the world and this certainly is one of them.
SV305 - Tsavorite, Calcite, Diopside $ 200 (=~ £ 160) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.1 x 1.3 x 1.1 cm Elongated faden-like Tsavorite crystals on a matrix of Calcite crystals. This is an uncommon form of Tsavorite (Grossular) that are not often seen on matrix. There is a Diopside crystal and small Pyrite crystals in association. Great thumbnail from the Merelani Tanzanite mines.
ST270 - Adamite $ 1250 (=~ £ 999) Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico small cabinet - 6.8 x 5 x 3.3 cm Vivid yellow to yellow/green 'pinwheel' crystal clusters on Limonite. Beautiful color.
ST243 - Spinel $ 500 (=~ £ 400) Mogok, Myanmar miniature - 3.3 x 2.3 x 1.5 cm An 1.5cm crystal of pink Spinel in matrix. A complete, slightly elongated octahedron with good transparency.
ST245 - Spinel $ 400 (=~ £ 320) Mogok, Myanmar miniature - 4 x 3 x 2.5 cm An 1.2cm crystal of pink Spinel in matrix. A complete, slightly elongated octahedron with good transparency (like glass inside, you could cut gems).
ST282 - Woodhouseite $ 200 (=~ £ 160) Champion Mine, White Mountains, Mono Co., California, USA small cabinet - 7 x 7 x 6 cm Rich specimen with numerous crystals of the uncommon mineral Woodhouseite. The best crystal is a pristine yellow/tan crystal 4.5mm in size well protected in a vug.
ST240 - Kammererite $ 130 (=~ £ 104) Kop Daglari, East Anatolia, Turkey thumbnail - 2.7 x 2.2 x 1.1 cm Rare specimen of the chromium rich Clinochore varietal known as Kammererite. Main crystal is 5mm in size and present on a druse of smaller crystals.
ST150 - Smokey Quartz $ 150 (=~ £ 120) Erongo Mtns., Namibia small cabinet - 6.8 x 4.5 x 4 cm Cluster of 3 undamaged smokey Quartz crystals from a recent find in the Erongo Mountains. These new crystals have excellent phantoms near the terminations, and this specimen was the best quality and had the most aesthetic arrangement of crystals of any of the specimens I saw.
ST251 - Legrandite $ 600 (=~ £ 480) Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico thumbnail - 1.8 x 1.2 x 0.8 cm Stout, complete single Legrandite crystal with good transparency. Well crystallized all around with a broad, flat termination. Lustrous undamaged crystal faces all around except for a couple small nicks on the backside.
