CT322 - Rutile Champion Mine, Mono Co., California, USA thumbnail - 2 x 1.5 x 1.4 cm Fabulous V-twin crystal of Rutile from the Champion Mine. This is the best V-twin I can recall ever seeing from this locality. There are 6 pages of photos of Rutile fromt his locality on Mindat, and none show better twin formation than this. CT645 - Fluorite $ 650 Minerva Mine, Cave-in-Rock, Hardin Co., Illinois, USA cabinet - 13.5 x 10 x 3.5 cm Large cluster of transparent to translucent Fluorite cubes from the Minerva Mine. The Fluorite is yellow with thin outer layers of purple and has both attached and included crystals of Chalcopyrite. Clean and in excellent condition with small crystals on the backside too.

CT650 - Liddicoatite $ 1800 Anjanabonoina, Madagascar cabinet - 12.2 x 9 x 0.4 cm Cut and polished slice of Liddicoatite (a species of Tourmaline) from old finds in Madagascar. Cut parallel to the C-axis, the slice reveals the colorful interior of what would have appeared to otherwise be a dark crystal. Triangular color zoning of greens, blues, and purple. Well polished on both sides, weighs 87.09 grams.

CT664 - Smithsonite after Dolomite $ 125 Philadelpia Mine, Rush, Marion Co., Arkansas, USA miniature - 3.5 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm Bright yellow crystals of Smithsonite replacing Dolomite, with the curving form of the former Dolomite crystal clearly evident. The bright color is caused by inclusions of Greenockite. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection acquired by Chuck in 1992.
CT739 - Mellite $ 275 Csordakúti Mine, Bicske-Csordakút, Bicskei District, Fejér County, Hungary thumbnail - 3 x 2.7 x 2.2 cm Fine single crystal of the unusual organic mineral Mellite, 2.7cm wide tip to tip, with smaller attached crystals. A seldom seen rarity that, according to Mindat, has been found in only 12 localities worldwide. It occurs as a secondary mineral in lignite deposits. The crystals are translucent, with light brown color and sharp form. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection acquired by Chuck in 1987.
A100 - Titanite with Melanite $ 150 MT Jeannes Pit No. 2, Clear Creek, San Benito Co., California, USA small cabinet - 8 x 4.5 x 3 cm Pink Titanite (Sphene) crystals associated with black Andradite var. Melanite. This is one of only a handful of specimens found decades ago and a true rarity for a California or San Benito Co. collector. Ex.
