Bright and shiny Galena crystals from Iowa! A nice stack of cubes. This came out of an old collection with the only 'Iowa' as the locality. Neat and unusual piece for an Iowa mineral collector.

V-twin crystal of color change Diaspore. From new finds in the mountains near Milas, these new Diaspore crystals are spectacular in color and form. Glassy, flat termination faces on both 'arms', complete and undamaged with a point of contact at the bottom of the V where it grew against the matrix. Gem quality and transparent inside. Medium purple color in natural sunlight.

Rosette formations of bright 'electric' blue Azurite crystals on matrix. Stunning and uncommon Arizona thumbnail. There are a couple small spheres of Malachite also present.

Lustrous Amethyst Quartz crystals with two separate generations of growth. The first generation has large Amethyst crystals measuring to about 4cm thick, with the later generation being overgrowths of smaller crystals coating the sides of the larger crystals. These are known as 'Cactus Quartz' and this is a large sized example. Very clean with no significant damage, all the tips are perfect, just a bit of chipping/contact near the base. Complete all around.

Complete and undamaged except for the missing bottom of a small sidecar crystal and with the point of contact at the bottom of the 'V'. Gem quality and transparent inside. Glassy, transparent hexagonal Emerald crystal with a good, flat termination. Deeper green color inthe lower half, grading up to a light green termination. Complete and undamaged.

A 1.2cm cluster of thick Proustite crystals on matrix. I bought this as part of an old collection and it unfortunately came without a label or locality information.  I can only guess it is German. Chunky crystals with good red color. Undamaged and valued at $500.

This is one of the special Tsumeb specimens that amaze. Cerussite and Rosasite over a mass of Copper. A floater with good crystals on all sides. Ex. Jim Parrish and Norm Dawson collections with labels.

Crystals of Tsavorite and Diopside on Graphite. The crystals formed in a vug on massive Graphite with crystals of Graphite present lining the vug. The main Tsavorite is about 7mm and highly gemmy. Tsavorite is a chrome and vanadium rich variety of Grossular from East Africa and is one of the most valuable types of garnet found anywhere. This specimen was found at the Merelani Tanzanite mines and a fine example of some of minerals found at this locality.

Rounded mass of Copper and Silver known as a 'Half Breed'. This one has a large 1.6cm rounded mass of Silver intergrown in Copper.

Floater specimen of 5 black cubic Bixbyite crystals with high luster intergrown with Topaz crystals. Largest Topaz is 1.9cm and double-terminated. Good all around.
