K269 - Sulfohalite $ 140 Searles Lake, California thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.5 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() This is as fine a Sulfohalite crystals as I've ever seen. Sharply formed with good yellow color and translucency. The bottom (sixth) point is incomplete but not damaged.

K289 - Smithsonite, Hemimorphite, Aurichalcite $ 650 79 Mine, Gila Co., Arizona, USA cabinet - 13 x 9.0 x 6 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Blue/green radial starburst formations of Aurichalcite, silvery blue Hemimorphite, green Smithsonite and more combine in a great combination specimen from the famous 79 Mine. It's both an interesting study piece and a colorful large display specimen.

Large display specimen of a USA classic getting harder to find. Saw cut on back.
K297 - Spessartine $ 750 Nani, Loliondo, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.6 x 2.4 x 2.4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Bright citrus orange Spessartine crystal, complete all around. Equant form with gem zones. There is some natural small surface pits, but no damage. This is a good one, with minimal black inclusions that negatively affect most of these. The intensity of color and gem zones are even more apparent with backlighting. These are no longer being found. Weighs 20.7 grams.
K323 - Chalcopyrite with Quartz $ 280 Madan, Rhodope Mts., Bulgaria cabinet - 9.5 x 7.5 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Stunningly attractive specimen of transparent Quartz with bright, brassy Chalcopyrite crystals. These are fairly common minerals, but in a combination and form to produce this beauty. Both minerals are evenly distributed and in good condition with just a few missing Quartz crystals. The Quartz are uniform in size and transparent. An overall very bright and showy specimen.
K322 - Pyrite with Quartz $ 120 Shangbao Mine, Hunan, China small cabinet - 8 x 8 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Mirro bright and lustrous Pyrite cubes on a matrix of solid crystalline Pyrite. Associated are green Quartz crystals and traces of purple Fluorite. The Shangbao Mine is well know for fabulous Pyrite specimens andthis one does not dissappoint, with cubes to 2cm on edge.
K305 - Prehnite with Calcite, Tanzanite $ 1800 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania small cabinet - 8.5 x 5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Individual spheres of yellow Prehnite grown in and around flat crystals of white Calcite. This is one of the most beautiful Merelani Prehnites I've ever seen. A fibrous blue Tanzanite and small white crystals (Laumontite?) are attached to the backside. A floater with no points of attachment and little to no damage.
