Bright yellow crystals of Smithsonite replacing Dolomite, with the curving form of the former Dolomite crystals clearly evident. Smithsonite also covers the surface of the matrix. The bright color is caused by inclusions of Greenockite.

Transparent light green Fluorite cubes with transparent wafer-like Calcite crystals. The quality of both the Fluorite and Calcite is remarkable. The best of a small lot I obtained years ago.

Cluster of large, twinned Cinnabar crystals 2.2cm wide on Dolomite and Quartz crystals. Another small 'drill bit' twin is near the base.

High quality, glassy 1cm Tsavorite crystal with good color on a Graphite matrix. Undamaged crystal that is transparent. There are some shallow grooves on the surface caused by former Graphite crystals.

A 2.4 terminated Apatite crystal attached to two terminated green crystals (possibly Diopside or other Pyroxene). This is relatively new material and the only aesthetic specimen that I saw of the material. The Apatite is translucent and gets transparent near the termination. There is also a small amount of transparent, colorless Hyalite Opal attached to the green crystals.

Double-terminated bi-colored Tanzanite crystal, blue/purple with yellow tips on each end. Clean and undamaged.

Pink Spinel from Mahenge is world famous for incredible faceted gemstones and much of what is found is used for gems. This is an uncommon, nearly complete octahedral crystal with just a small amount of chipping on one tip, otherwise undamaged and lustrous all around. Weighs 13.37 grams.

Large, complex single Pyrite crystal with high luster. The exotic crystal forms and high luster of Merelani Pyrite make it my favorite of any Pyrite found. There are two smaller attached crystals and it's contacted on the base, otherwise complete all around with just a few chips and great overall form and presentation.
