J181 - Apatite $ 140 Namalulu, Tanzania miniature - 3.2 x 3 x 2.1 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, chunky single Apatite crystal with a good blue/green color. Complete all around and translucent with a 'wet' luster. Slight chipping but relatively undamaged.
J199 - Apatite $ 70 Namalulu, Tanzania thumbnail - 1.4 x 1.0 x 0.7 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Single Apatite crystal with a good blue/green color. Complete all around and translucent with a 'wet' luster and areas of transparency. Undamaged crystal that really glows with backlighting.
J275 - Topaz after Augelite with Quartz $ 750 Mundo Nuevo Mine, La Libertad, Peru miniature - 5 x 3 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Two light lavender casts of Topaz after Augelite associated with elongated, transparent Quartz crystals. This was fouond about ten years ago when the great Augelite finds were made. There are two casts present, the largest over 2cm. This is the best of only a few I saw available. They were originally thought to be Fluorite after Augelite, but have been tested and confirmed to be Topaz.

J255 - Talc after Enstatite Bamle, Norway small cabinet - 7.5 x 6.5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Large intergrown Enstatite crystals that have been replaced by green Talc. Complete all around and terminated. These were found in approximately 1900-1910 and this is considered a large specimen. Comes with an old German label.
J254 - Orthoclase after Quartz $ 350 Krupka, Erzgebirge Mtns., Czech Republic small cabinet - 8 x 4 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Rare pseudomorph of Orthoclase after Quartz. Orthoclase hosting the 3cm pseudomorph at one end, mostly the termination of the former Quartz crystal. Collected in the 1970s, this is one of only a small number of specimens known.
J252 - Galena after Bournonite $ 750 Pribram, Bohemia, Czech Republic cabinet - 12 x 7 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, relatively flat specimen with the front face covered by crystals of Galena that have replaced Bournonite. Individual crystal reach 1.2cm in size and are undamaged.

J322 - Fluorite in Quartz $ 220 Miandrivazo, Fianarantsoa Province, Madagascar miniature - 4.7 x 1.8 x 1.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Pair of attached, double-terminated clear Quartz crystals with inclusions of purple Fluorite crystals. These were found one time perhaps 10 years ago and have not been found since. There are 2 included Fluorite crystals. Undamaged.
J267 - Pyrhottite $ 260 Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico small cabinet - 6 x 5.5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, chunky single Pyrhottite crystal from Mexico. This is from an old collection and these are now uncommon to find. Besides being a large crystal, it has an interesting purple sheen over much of the surface.
J306 - Diopside $ 950 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 3.2 x 2 x 1.2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Single Diopside crystal with intense lime green color. Complete all around and undamaged with some Tanzanite attached to the lower left side. Translucent to transparent.

J308 - Tsavorite with Pyrite $ 450 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Tsavorite crystals on Graphite with attached Pyrite crystals. Complete all around and undamaged. The main crystal is 1cm and transparent.
J230 - Wulfenite $ 250 Red Cloud Mine, La Paz Co., Arizona, USA thumbnail - 1.8 x 1.3 x 0.3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Lustrous single red/orange Wulfenite crystal on a small amount of matrix. Undamaged and complete all around with areas of transparency.
TU240 - Fluorite with Ferberite, Arsenopyrite $ 500 Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan, China small cabinet - 6 x 5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Glassy, transparent Fluorite cubes to 3cm on edge grown around a cluster of Arsenopyrite crystals. The Fluorite have green and purple color zones. A 3cm Ferberite crystal extends into the upper back of the Fluorite cluster and there are Quartz crystals attached to the top. I found one small edge nick on a side crystal, otherwise undamaged. Bright and showy, better than photos.
