The specimen is a floater with no point of attachment visible and the Quartz crystals are terminated on both ends. No visible damage to any part of this specimen. Murdoch, Joseph & Robert W. Webb (1966), in Minerals of California, notes an occurrence near the Feather River and Yankee Hill areas, but little else is known. Comes mounted with minreal tac in a 2-inch perky box with an original old faded label. A true rarity for the California collector.
