Large 3cm black Spinel crystal on matrix with other smaller Spinel crystals. This is an old specimen from a collection from the 1960s and 70s, and unfortunately there was no  locality information available. I believe it to be from an old, lost locality in Riverside Co. It occurs with Chlorite and appears to have been partially etched from carbonate rock. It rates as a significant California Spinel. Undamaged.

Cluster of translucent yellow Prehnite crystals on Graphite. Such yellow Prehnites have come from Merelani sporadically over the years, but never before in the quality that has been found in the last year. This specimen has big chunky crystals all over in a tall mound shaped formation. There is some chipping present, but mostly nothing but great crystals sticking out 360 degrees in all directions. A good one for the find.
