AF433 - Azurite $ 200 Bou Bekker Mine, Toussit District, Oujda-Angad Prov., Morocco thumbnail - 2.9 x 2.8 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Thick, blocky deep blue Azurite crystals from the Bou Bekker Mine. A complete all around, undamaged floater cluster. This is one of the best I've seen from this find.
D366 - Zircon $ 120 Mashewa, Tanga Region, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.1 x 0.7 x 0.7 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Single gemmy Zircon crystal with a nice wine red to red brown coloration. Complete all around and undamaged except for some slight edge chipping. Smooth, flat crystal faces on the termination with surface growth patterns on the prism faces, which is common with these crystals.

J16 - Jeremejevite $ 1200 Ameib Ranch, Arandis, Erongo Region, Namibia miniature - 3.2 x 0.8 x 0.6 cm ![]() ![]() Etched floater Jeremejevite crystal with good blue color and plenty of gem zones. A thick crystal that has most of the original, flat prism faces still intact with more etching present at the ends. Good sized, high quality crystal that weighs 14 carats. No damage.

SA583 - Proustite $ 1200 Dolores Mine, Chanarcillo, Chile thumbnail - 1.9 x 0.6 x 0.4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Single red crystal of 'Ruby Silver' from the most important mine for this species in the world. Bright and translucent red when backlit. A complete,terminated single crystal of one of the 'Holy Grail' species for mineral collectors rarely seen for sale.
AF326 - Jeremejevite $ 1800 Ameib Ranch, Arandis, Erongo Region, Namibia thumbnail - 3.1 x 1.2 x 1.0 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Large single crystal from a find in spring 2010. Large size for the species, with both good length and perhaps more significantly, exceptional thickness. The crystal is naturally etched however retains a good glassy luster and has lots of internal transparency.

NA409 - Smithsonite $ 200 Kelly Mine, MAgdalena, Socorro Co., New Mexico miniature - 3.2 x 2.7 x 1.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fine quality, sky blue botryoidal Smithsonite from the Kelly Mine in New Mexico. This specimen has a more pure blue color than is typical (rather than blue/green) and a bright, shimmering surface luster.
A139 - Ferberite on Quartz $ 360 Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan, China miniature - 5 x 5 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Sharply formed Ferberite crystal fronting a clear Quartz crystal, both accented by small clusters of mica. I purchased this from Debbie Meng many years ago (10?) just as production from the Yaogangxian mine was hitting the market, and it has been in my collection every since. Undamaged, well balanced, and displays great.
AF721 - Prehnite on Tanzanite $ 3900 Merelani Hills, Lelatema Mountains, Arusha Region, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.9 x 2 x 1 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Killer Tanzanite thumbnail that's also a great association piece too. Fine, gemmy blue Tanzanite crystal with excellent luster and great transparency with attached large, single Prehnite crystals (analyzed) on the backside. Prehnite from Merelani is usually seen as rounded aggregates, yet on this specimen they occur as individual crystals to 7mm wide. In addition to the Prehnite, there are white crystals of an unidentified mineral also attached to the backside. A very nice Tanzanite, undamaged with TOP luster, good color and highly gemmy.

A highly aesthetic 'toenail' sized specimen of this rare species witht he Quartz providing a nice accent.
E101 - Cuprite $ 200 Rubtsovskiy Mine, Altaiskiy Krai, Siberia, Russia thumbnail - 3 x 2.5 x 2.0 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cluster of octahedral Cuprite,complete all around, contacted on the bottom. Good large crystals to 2.4cm in longest dimension, with bevelled edges.
E103 - Cuprite with Miersite $ 450 Rubtsovskiy Mine, Altaiskiy Krai, Siberia, Russia thumbnail - 2.4 x 1.7 x 1.7 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Cluster of octahedral Cuprite crystals with associated bright yellow Miersite (which is a member of the chlorargyrite group of minerals). Only a small number of the recovered Cuprite specimens were asociated with Miersite. Complete, undamged floater specimen with no points of contact.
