C388 - Stellerite $ 650 Aurangabad Quarry, Maharashtra, India small cabinet - 6 x 6 x 4.0 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yellow crystal groups of Stellerite with the largest 4.8cm across. Radial groups of crystals that get wider as they extend out. The form reminds me of the fat back tires you sometimes see on motorcycles. Close inspection reveals a highly lustrous surface of interlocking crystals. I got this at the 2018 Tucson show and I only saw five specimens of this style with one dealer.

C395 - Tourmaline with Albite $ 350 Stak Nala, Skardu, Pakistan miniature - 4.2 x 2.0 x 2.0 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Dark green Tourmaline crystal with a bright pink termination and attached blades of Albite. Complete and undamaged. There is a 1.7cm double-terminated Tourmaline grown right across the tip of the first crystal.
C396 - Anatase with Quartz $ 180 Karan, Balochistan, Pakistan miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Double-terminated 1cm Anatase crystal on Albite. There are transparent Quartz crystals rising straight up out of the Albite. Undamaged and clean.
C403 - Adamite with Calcite $ 200 Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico miniature - 4.2 x 3 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Unusual specimen of yellow Adamite on one side, and Calcite crystals to 1.5cm on the other side.
C410 - Cuprite with Delafossite $ 1250 Bisbee, Cochise Co., Arizona, USA small cabinet - 6 x 4.0 x 3.5 cm ex. Bruce Murphy ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Well formed red Cuprite octahedrons and sparkling mounds of Delafossite all over matrix. The specimen is very rich in both Cuprite and Delafossite. While most Bisbee Cuprites are dull, this example shows a nice reddish tint under natural light which is fairly uncommon. Clean and undamaged specimen from the Bruce Murphy collection, acquired by Bruce in 2007.
C415 - Rosasite $ 1250 Silver Bill Mine, Cochise Co., Arizona miniature - 5 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm ex. Bruce Murphy ![]() ![]() ![]() Powder blue spheres of Rosasite on the sides and within a protected vug in the specimen. Gorgeous and undamaged, this competition quality specimen is similar to the example shown on the cover of the 2nd addition of Minerals of Arizona. High quality and undamaged Rosasite from here are rare. To Bruce Murphy via the Arkenstone who acquired it in 2005 from the Ernie Schlichter collection.
C426 - Aquamarine with Quartz $ 400 Ping Wu, Sichuan Prov., China small cabinet - 5.5 x 4.5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Tabular Aquamarine crystals adjacent to a clear Quartz crystal, on Muscovite. These Aquas are typically found on flat plates of Muscovite and the structure and display of this one is unique and striking. There are 3 main Aqua crystals, one of which has some interference growth on one side which is not damage. Professionally cleaned and exceptionally clean and bright.
C436 - Rosasite, Hemimorphite, Chrysocolla $ 350 79 Mine, Gila Co., Arizona, USA small cabinet - 9 x 7.5 x 3.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hemimorphite lined vugs with darker blue/green Rosasite on one side and light blue/green Chrysocolla on the other. This specimen is out of an old collection built in the 1960s and 70s.

Despite the tons of Malachite that pour out of Katanga every year, Azurite from the Congo remains rare. Good blocky crystals to 1.5cm that contrast well against the Malachite.

C445 - Galena with Sphalerite $ 750 9th of September Mine, Madan, Bulgaria small cabinet - 7 x 5.5 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() New find of skeletal Galena from the 9th of September Mine. This is true skeletal Galena (not the manufactured specimens from about 10 years ago), only the second time in 20 years that they have been found. Black Sphalerite crystals are intergrown with the Galena. Undamaged floater specimen crystallized all around.
C446 - Brochantite Morocco small cabinet - 8.5 x 6 x 3 cm ex. Bruce Murphy ![]() ![]() ![]() Old specimen from the Bruce Murphy collection composed of nothing but Brochantite crystals. This was a rare specimen when Bruce acquired it, and I've not seen much Brochantite specimens from Morocco since. Bright emerald green crystals everywhere. This is likely from the Bou Bekker Mine.
