T933 - Tsavorite with Pyrite $ 600 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.5 x 0.7 x 0.6 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Formation of elongated Tsavorite crystals that grade up in size towards the top, with attached tiny Pyrite crystals. Glassy and well crystallized all around. This style of Tsavorite is new this year and highly unusual, and a wonderful surprise from the Merelani mines. It's essentially a floater, with a small point of contact at the thick end. At the right angle it looks like a lightning bolt. An amazing specimen!!!

Excellent color on the Tsavorite, glassy and well crystallized all around. This style of Tsavorite is new this year and highly unusual, and a wonderful surprise from the Merelani mines. It's essentially a floater, with only the very tip of one part of the bottom as a possible point of contact. An amazing specimen!!!
T936 - Tsavorite with Pyrite $ 500 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.6 x 0.5 x 0.4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Elongated Tsavorite crystal group with attached Pyrite crystals from the Merelani Tanzanite mines in Tanzania. Twisting, towering stack of crystals with a distinct faden line. Excellent color Tsavorite that is glassy and well crystallized all around. This style of Tsavorite is unusual and only found over the course of one or two years. It was a wonderful surprise from the Merelani mines. Complete and undamaged with the point of contact at the bottom of the stack. An amazing specimen!!!
