This is classic old Virgem da Lapa material, probably from the 1960s. Gemmy from tip to bottom with a purple body color and bright pink termination. Undamaged and weighs 4.4 grams.

C213 - Sphene $ 450 Mondo Mine, Tanzania small cabinet - 6 x 4.5 x 1.7 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() A large, well formed single Sphene crystal from teh relatively new Mondo Mine. The locality is primarily mined for Quartz, but occassionally a good Sphene is found. This is as large and sharp and Sphene as I have seen from this locality so far. Good on front and back with gem zones.
