Not common elsewhere, Enargite was one of the major ores of Copper at Butte.

LP563 - Arsenopyrite $ 125 Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan, China miniature - 4 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cluster of intergrown, doubly-terminated Aresonopyrite crystals. Silvery metallic and well crystallized all around. I found one point of contact on the tip of a smaller crystal, otherwise it's perfectly crystallized and undamaged all around.
LP529 - Stannite on Quartz $ 400 Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan, China small cabinet - 7 x 7 x 5.5 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Clusters of irridescent blue Stannite crystals on a large group of transparent Quartz crystals. The main Stannite cluster is 3.3cm wide. Associated minerals include Muscovite and Arsenopyrite.
LP568 - Neptunite $ 280 Gem Mine, San Benito Co., California, USA small cabinet - 8.5 x 7 x 5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Highly lustrous black crystals of Neptunite on white Natrolite. The largest crystal is a flat lying 2.8cm crystal that is double terminated. Most people think of Benitoite from this mine, but the Neptunite are also the world's best for species.

Fine and classic Yaogangxian combination specimen.
