B420 - Mimetite, Cerussite, Duftite $ 450 Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 8 x 8 x 4.0 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Yellow Mimetite crystals on a Duftite covered matrix with a single Cerussite. There are hundreds of Mimetite crystals present in a wide size range from barely visible to 1.5cm long.
B477 - Sphene $ 150 Tormiq, Skardu Dist., Pakistan thumbnail - 2.1 x 1.8 x 1.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Cluster of thick, green Sphene crystals. The crystals orient in an upright position and are thick making for a nice display thumbnail. There are crystals on the bottom too, it's a floater or nearly one.

B500 - Azurite with Malachite $ 250 Volborthite Pocket, Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico miniature - 4.5 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() Bright bladed crystals of Azurite, nothing but Azurite on this one except a single spherical mass of Malachite which is distinctive for this pocket. Some chipping along the edges.
B503 - Pyrite in Quartz $ 1500 Nuristan, Afghanistan small cabinet - 6.2 x 3.3 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Transparent Quartz crystal with included green Rutile crystals and a superb cube of Pyrite. The pyrite cube is good sized at about 5mm on edge and is readily visible in the Quartz.
B504 - Pyrite in Quartz Saline Valley, California small cabinet - 5.8 x 2.7 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Transparent, water clear Quartz crystal with included Pyrite crystals. Rare to find crystal from a little known locality. A little chatter along a couple edges, but mostly perfect condition.
B538 - Paravauxite $ 380 Siglo Veinte Mine, Llallagua, Bolivia thumbnail - 2.1 x 1.4 x 1.4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Cluster of large Paravauxite crystals from the famous Siglo XX (Twentieth Century) Mine in Bolivia. These are very large crystals for the species (main crystal is 2.1cm) - most Paravauxite crystals are under 1cm in size. The Siglo Veinte mine is the Type locality for this uncommon phosphate species. Small amounts of blue Vauxite adds color contrast. Big crystals!
B560 - Azurite with Malachite $ 2000 Anhui Province, China cabinet - 14.5 x 12.5 x 5.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Shockingly bright, electric blue Azurite crystals lining a large, shallow vug. The color is a more dark, vibrant royal blue than the photos indicate. The photos also don't capture the bright reflections of the crystals - they look like blue foil. These are so incredibly bright I had to take a second look to make sure they weren't Linarite or some other species. I've never Azurite seen like this before, though I have heard Bisbee produced similar Azurites to this at one time. The backside is sawn revealing another small vug containing typical, darker blue Azurite crystals. If you want to add a large amount of bright blue to your case, this is the one.

The Azurite crystals reach 2.5cm in size and from an attractive grouping well centered on a clean white matrix. In excellent condition with some chipping only on the lower outer edges. Visually stunning specimen!!
B574 - Smithsonite $ 400 Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 5 x 4.5 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Elongated, transparent Smithsonite crystals rising up out of a shallow vug in matrix. Crystals reach 1.5cm tall.
B595 - Calcite $ 120 Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 4 x 3 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Sharp, highly lustrous Calcite rhomb, 2.4cm on a colorful matrix of Dolomite. The old label dates the specimen back to at least 1977.
