The Juanita Mine was an old lead and zinc mine that closed in 1937 and was the oldest claim in the Kelly region. The Calcite is fluorescent (greenish yellow).

This now closed locality (operated in the mid 1990s) is well know for superb Chalcocite crystals, usually as individual clusters of crystals. This specimen of crystals on a matrix of solid Chalcocite has an appealing and somewhat different look than most.
