Gem Tourmaline crystal recently mined from the famous St. Anne's Mine in the Karoi district of Zimbabwe. Steeply terminated, complete crystal. It's transparent top to bottom with a good medium green color over most of the crystal with a darker green (though still transparent) termination. The termination is multi-faceted and complex. High quality Tourmaline.

Intergrown pair of transparent Natrolite crystals. Found at either the Benitoite Gem Mine or nearby outcrops. A quality, undamaged thumbnail from the Chuck Trantham collection.

Large, aesthetic cluster of blue Barite on matrix. The Barite is translucent to transparent and composed of thin bladed crystals grouped together forming and attractive cluster, complete on all sides. One blade has chipping, otherwise it's perfect all around.

Undamaged cluster of curving, translucent Prehnite crystals from the Merelani Tanzanite mines. These blue Prehnite are much less common than the yellow Prehnite and also display an interesting color change showing a different hue of blue between incandescent lighting and natural sunlight. A fine example of this type with some attached Graphite on the backside.

Multi-colored Tanzanite crystal with a yellow over purple/blue color displayed from the front wide face. A red color is visible up the C-axis, and you can even see flashes of red reflected out the front face when lit from below (last photo). Complete and undamaged and weighs 6.87 grams.

Yellow Tanzanite crystal with steep pyramidal termination. From a unique pocket a few years ago that produced these unusually yellow colored crystals. Complete and undamaged.

Cluster of large, wafer-like crystals of Wulfenite typical for this mine. The crystals are translucent and reach 3.5cm in size and have coatings of Calcite crystals on the backsides. This is from a collection from the 1980s and 1990s time frame and had an old label showing a price of $800.

An old classic Tsumeb specimen of green Bayldonite on or partially pseudomorphing elongated, hexagonal Mimetite crystals. These were found in the 1st oxidation zone that dates to the late 1800s to early 1900s.

Double-terminated Anglesite crystal on matrix. The Anglesite is gemmy and yellow and has been repaired once. A stunning and uncommon thumbnail.

Dark green Kolwezite with rhombs of pink Cobaltoan Calcite (or possibly Cobaltoan Dolomite) creating a stunning mixture of colors and forms. The largest individual crystal is 1.8cm in size. Kolwezite is a Copper Cobalt Carbonate Hydroxide and this is the type locality for the species. A beautiful large display piece and combination specimen of two desireable species together.

Open vug filled with large, prismatic crystals of Azurite. The Azurite crystals have great luster and the largest is approximately 2cm tall. Good crystals of Azurite are rare for this locality!
