B560 - Azurite with Malachite $ 2000 (=~ CAN$ 2745) Anhui Province, China cabinet - 14.5 x 12.5 x 5.5 cm Shockingly bright, electric blue Azurite crystals lining a large, shallow vug. The color is a more dark, vibrant royal blue than the photos indicate. The photos also don't capture the bright reflections of the crystals - they look like blue foil. These are so incredibly bright I had to take a second look to make sure they weren't Linarite or some other species. I've never Azurite seen like this before, though I have heard Bisbee produced similar Azurites to this at one time. The backside is sawn revealing another small vug containing typical, darker blue Azurite crystals. If you want to add a large amount of bright blue to your case, this is the one.
