LL720 - Diaspore $ 300

V-twin crystal of color change Diaspore. From new finds in the mountains near Milas, these new Diaspore crystals are spectacular in color and form. Glassy, flat termination faces on both 'arms'. Good V form, complete and undamaged. Gem quality and transparent inside. Medium purple color in natural sunlight.

V-twin crystal of color change Diaspore. From new finds in the mountains near Milas, these new Diaspore crystals are spectacular in color and form. Glassy, flat termination faces on both 'arms'. Good V form, complete and undamaged with just a tiny contact at the very bottom tip. Gem quality and transparent inside. Medium purple color in natural sunlight.

Deep blue crystals of Clinoclase on matrix from the now defunct Majuba Hill Mine. The area of crystals is 4cm wide. An excellent example for the locality and of the species.

Deep blue crystals of Clinoclase over green Cornubite from the now defunct Majuba Hill Mine. Both the front and back have great crystals and display equally well.

Gemmy red Andradite crystals to 7mm covering the front of a massive Andradite matrix. Collected by Len Pisciotta, he told me it's the best one he found.

Transparent pink Tourmaline crystal. Well terminated and free of any internal fracturing. Weighs 4.85 grams. Ex. Bryant Harris collection and mined in 1969.

Single Benitoite with 'textbook' form. Benitoite is the only mineral that crystallizes in the trigonal bipyramidal form, a form that was only hypothesized prior to it's discovery. Here you have a perfect example of the rare form (and a rare mineral). It looks almost like a crystal model. Thick and complete all around, with Crossite inclusions.

Single Benitoite with near 'textbook' form and Crossite inclusions. Benitoite is the only mineral that crystallizes in the trigonal bipyramidal form, a form that was only hypothesized prior to it's discovery. Here you have a perfect example of the rare form (and a rare mineral). There is one natural step growth on the back of one corner, otherwise is perfectly symetrical on both sides.

Complete and well terminated single crystal of 'Imperial' Topaz. This specimen has a well saturated, better than average, deep reddish orange coloration.

Translucent purple Apatite crystal with and transparent section of green Tourmaline. The Apatite crystal is 2cm in size and has a slightly curved top surface and has a small Tourmaline crystal included inside.
