Black Andradite var. Melanite crystals scattered on matrix. An excellent example with lustrous black crystals to 4mm in size. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection, collected by Chuck, Al McGuinness, and Luis Leite in 1976. One of the best Melanite specimens I saw in the collection.

Black Andradite var. Melanite crystals scattered on matrix. An excellent example with lustrous black crystals, including a large single that stands out off the matrix that is to 9mm in size. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection. Acquired by Chuck in 1992 via trade from Al McGuinness's personal collection (Al had collected or acquired it in 1980). The best Melanite specimen I saw in the collection.

Blue botryoidal Smithsonite in multiple vugs. Old specimes that comes with a few old labels including a Jean Behier label that notes that he acquired it from the Letellier collection.

Beautiful glassy orange/red Wulfenite crystals well exposed and filling seams in the matrix. Loaded with crystals, this is a very showing display specimen. There are some damaged crystals, but many more perfect ones.

Orange/red Crocoite crystals to 1cm in size on multiple sides of the specimen. Bereszovsk is the type locality for Crocoite and was first described from this mine way back in 1766. Uncommon specimen potentially hundreds of years old.

Thin matrix covered on the front side by green Pyromorphite. A USA classic from a historic old Lead and Silver mine. In excellent condition, espcially considering this piece could date back to the 1800s. Comes with two old labels.
